"So, you're telling me you confessed?" Chaeyoung said while handing Lisa a handkerchief. She nodded.
Lisa's mind was afloat while she is on the veranda trying to read the latest update of her favorite novel every time reality struck her from her thought but her mind sends her adrift once again to her memories that made her eyes stung and cry.
She can still remember every moment of that night. She eventually slept in Hoseok and Jimin's room, she left him dumbfounded inside his walk-in closet. She cried all through the night. She sobbed so hard like her heart feels as if breaking into pieces, but fortunately for her, Hobi is a deep sleeper.
That's when Chaeyoung with a glass of pineapple juice in her hand saw her in the veranda crying mess, a few minutes back.
She helped her breath when she sobbed hard, she helped Lisa wipe her tears and rub her back so she can feel at least at ease.
"And it didn't go well?" Chaeyoung hugged her, she nodded.
"He rejected me, I got best-friend zoned" she mocked herself.
"We can't force a person to like us Lisa, I hope you understand that" Chaeyoung said. "Besides, it's not his loss" "You're basically the most beautiful face right now! Everyone drools over you with just a sight of you!" Trying to uplift the girl's spirit.
"But he is also the most handsome face right now chaeng, didn't you see it?" she said while wiping her tears.
"ohh, you're right" chaeyoung pouted when she pulled away from their hug "But you are the kindest heart, most caring person, and most loving human I have ever known" "I bet that yuna bitch wasn't at all" she said.
"But Yuna is a perfect girl" Lisa countered "She's basically a perfect example of a true beauty"
"Aaaaiissh! Don't you know the webtoon true beauty?! She not really beautiful, she hides her true face with cosmetics!" Chaeyoung fought back.
"She's not like tha-"
"Don't argue with me!! Why are you defending her!?" chaeyoung removed her arms on her "She's the reason why you're crying right now!" "That Jungfuck! He was dumped for more than 6 years now but he still loves her! He must have lost his mind!" Chaeyoung punched the air.
Lisa cried loudly after that, and Chaeyoung started to panic.
"Yes, you're right, chaengi!" "He still loves her even though 6 years have passed!" "How can I win that when even she's far away from him that long and even after she cheated on him, she's still the one inside his heart!"
Chaeyoung watched her with pitiful eyes. She was angry at Jungkook for making her best friend cry, but she can't blame him for not returning Lisa's feelings.
"Lisa look at me" Chaeyoung held both of her fluffy cheeks "You can move on from this, you are much stronger than you think" "You're freaking Lalisa Manoban for godsake! You beat 3,999 auditionee in Thailand, you got A++ in every monthly evaluation! You're so famous everyone wants to marry you!" "You can get through this, one heartbreak will never let you down" "In fact that pain will make you stronger, it can make you a better person"
Lisa listened to every word that she said, She's right. This pain will help me move forward, this is temporary, I can forget you Jungkook. I can forget this feeling.
"That's right Lisa let's start anew" Chaeyoung encouraged her. she nodded her head.
"Let's make him regret rejecting you"
