A few day already passed in the blink of an eye.
Or at least that's how Izuku wanted it to be.
Every day felt so extremely slow, like a snail trying to pass the street.
He had to follow a simple routine.
Wake up, fight with Yujiro the entirety of the day, hunt for his own food, and was given 7 hours of sleep.
Turns out sleep is crutial, even for Hanmas.
Take a rest restful, go sleep for once.
Yujiro did everything perfectly.
He'd always hurt his son to a point where 7 hours would be enough for him to heal up.
Although that sounds weird, Izuku accepted it.
Yujiro had to hold back for the sake of Izuku improving as much as possible.
What could the boy gain after getting knocked out in a single blow?
A strong body, but that's it.
Also, Yujiro was generous enough to grant Izuku some time to rest.
And during those times, they would talk.
That's implying that they were bonding like a son would with his father.
And as of today, Izuku picked a picky topic.
Or more like a frightening realisation.
" Hey, how strong are you compared to Baki."
Izuku just blurted it out. This has been on his mind for a few hours now.
That was a mistake, he wanted to say how strong is Baki compared to him, how he frazed it sounds as if Baki is stronger.
" What's that supposed to mean?"
By the face, it seems Yujiro was angered.
And if there's anything Izuku learned hanging around with him for a few days now, it's that he's the real deal when he's angered.
Still, he kept his cool. Yujiro might punish Izuku for such a question, but he won't kill him.
" It's just that...."
" It's just what?"
Izuku lost the ability to formulate sentences.
" It's just that... Baki feels stronger when I'm fighting him."
Izuku actually managed to say it, although that required a lot of concetration.
" I know you're always holding back when we're fighting, but still..."
Even when someone is holding back, some time later, you'll realize how much that person is holding back.
That's what Izuku started to feel a few hours ago.
He managed to catch his rhythm.
Baki always holds back when they're fighting, but the same thing happened as well.
" So you're saying I'm weaker than Baki?"
Yujiro had an annoyed look on his face.
That is exactly what Izuku is saying.
" It just feels like it."
The boy couldn't even look Yujiro in the eyes.
He feels like a mistake was made.
