As the sun slowly rose above the town everyone got up only to see Isaac awake and messing with the radio. He mumbled "come on someone must still be alive" everyone looked at him and Rodrigo approached him then put a hand on his shoulder "Hey Isaac are you feeling alright?" He jumped a little "oh yeah just checking the radio channels... Hoping there's someone out there" "well are you having any luck?" Everyone sat down while Isaac went back to turning the dial on the radio. "Not really just static" Emma looked at him and asked, "what if we send a message instead?" Cole shook his head "we would need a transmitter for that" Emma looked to the town "then let's go into town and get a transmitter" Rodrigo sighed "who would do it? Isaac is injured and Alice is still shaken up from the last time" Emma looked down "me and cole will do it" Isaac and Rodrigo looked at them. Rodrigo nodded "alright but take our jackets it's getting colder here" Emma shook her head "no we'll be fine..." Rodrigo took off his jacket "bullshit! Just take it and go" Amile looked at him "why do you guys have to swear?" Emma stayed quiet and took the jacket "let's go cole" cole nodded but before he left Isaac gave him the revolver and ax just in case. As they were walking away Isaac got up and grabbed materials to build a . Rodrigo looked at the sky to see some dark clouds. "It's going to rain..." Alice looked up "maybe so let's hope we can keep warm" Isaac put the leaves and twigs in the circle of rocks then put the kindling in a crisscross pattern. He looked at amile "mil can you give me the matches, please?" Amile grabbed the matches "but you didn't answer my question..." Isaac looked at the fire pit "we swear because... It's how we express strong emotions, relieve stress, or convey opinions" amile gave him the matches "so can I, Jamie and James swear?" Isaac lit a match and put it on the dry leaves "I don't know... Maybe you should ask your sister" Amile looked too misty for permission. "Can I, misty?" Misty looked at her and sighed "one word and it can't be anything worse than shit" amile smiled "I hate those damn lurkers" Isaac blew at the base of the fire and added a log to the fire "I do too and fire is ready" everyone looked at him and Rodrigo looked surprised "Woah man you didn't even use lighter fluid" Isaac shrugged "my brother always made my family go camping so I picked up a few skills... I can also set up snares for rabbits" everyone looked excited and Alice looked at him "so you might get us meat?" Daisy ran over at the mention of meat. Isaac chuckled "yeah all I need is some wire and sticks" Isaac walked to his car and opened the trunk. "Now to make some snares" he pulled out a roll of aluminum wire and began making snares

Meanwhile, cole and Emma walked into an old electronics store. Cole looked around "remember we're looking for a transmitter" Emma nodded "what does it look like?" Cole looked at her "it varies but the one we're looking for is a small rectangular box with a screen" Emma began to look and soon found the transmitter. "Hey cole I think I found it" cole walked over and looked at it. "Yeah, it is so let's get back to the others" suddenly a gun was cocked behind them and a voice spoke "first you thieves take medicine now you try to take our transmitter" a female voice spoke "we understood taking the medicine but you come into our town and just take what you want well not anymore. Turn around and get ready to die" both Emma and Cole turned around to see four people. Three of them held guns and Emma decided to try to reason with them. "look we made a mistake alright just let us go and we'll leave" a guy looked at them "holy shit... These aren't the same people" the girl's eyes widen "Jaiden's right... These two aren't the medicine thieves but they still tried to steal our transmitter" The guy who they assumed was Jaiden sighed "what should we do with them?" The girl shrugged and looked at the Letterman jacket "I don't know maybe just take back the transmitter and let them leave" one of the other guys looked at her "are you crazy luna!?" Luna mumbled "just a suggestion dick" as they were bickering cole noticed two lurkers behind the four people. Cole reached for the revolver but Jaiden noticed "don't even think about it" suddenly the lurkers growled and bit two of the members. Cole looked at them as they screamed while Jaiden and luna watched in horror. Cole killed the two lurkers and looked at the members that were bit. He aimed and shot them in the heads which made blood splatter onto him. Emma's eyes widened "oh hold I feel sick" Jaiden luna stared at their dead friends. Luna looked at cole "what the actual fuck?!" Cole looked at them "they were bit I had no choice" a silence passed and lurkers began flooding into the store. Cole looked at a back exit "come on you can yell at me when we get to our camp" they began to run to the outskirts of the town.

As Isaac was building his snare he saw cole and Emma coming back with two other people. A guy with a hoodie, jeans, messy brown hair a, and blue eyes then a girl with a varsity jacket, black shirt, shorts, black hair in pigtails, and blue eyes.

Isaac walked over and looked at them. "I see you brought more people but did you bring back what we needed and is that blood on you?" Cole showed the transmitter "yeah I Iid and it's not my blood" Jaiden in "yeah it's my friend's blood" Isaac wore a shocked expression "cole what is he talking about!?" Cole shrugged "they were bit. What was I Supposed to do?" Isaac sighed "I guess that explains it" Rodrigo and Alice walked over only for luna to raise her gun at them. "You two are the medicine thieves" Rodrigo put his hands up "what are you talking about? We didn't steal anything" Luna looked at them "is that so? What about the penicillin, amoxicillin, Neosporin, morphine, acetaminophen, syringes, and first aid kits you two took from our home the medical center" Alice looked at her "look we didn't know you guys were there" Jaiden gained a confused look "are you sure you didn't? we lit a sign up saying that people were inside" Rodrigo moved forward "look just tell your friend to calm down a little an-" Luna grabbed Jaiden's rifle aimed at his abdomen "fuck you!" She pulled the trigger but Amile had run to push Rodrigo out of the way. In doing so it hit her in the eye and nicked her nose. Isaac's eyes widened and he ran to amile. "H-holy shit you shot her eye out!" Misty ran in as well and began to examine amile as best she could. Luna looked at the little girl on the ground then at Rodrigo but before she could do anything cole knocked her out. Isaac picked up amile and put her in the bed of the pickup truck where misty could treat her then he went over and looked at Jaiden. "We might be thieves to you but you people are fucking heartless monsters to us" Jaiden looked down and gave Isaac the guns "I'm sorry for Luna's rash actions but please forgive us..." Isaac sighed "she should be the one apologizing and we should also be apologizing to you two" Jaiden looked at the unconscious luna "I'll keep an eye on her" Isaac nodded "thanks and I'm sorry about the medicine it's just we needed it to keep my stitches from getting infected." Isaac walked off and sat with cole. "So can we use the transmitter now?" Cole nodded "yeah let's send a message," Isaac thought and began the message "hello if you can hear me then great. My name is Isaac and I need help. If anyone is out there please contact us tomorrow at nine in the morning, one of our members has been shot in the eye. If you can help then come looking for us we're on the outskirts of Tusla, Oklahoma and we're a group of ten... That's all" cole stopped the transmitter "now to wait" Isaac nodded "yeah I'm going to set up some snares" Cole gave him an excited smile as Isaac went to set up the snares. Misty sighed as she got Amile in a stable condition and bandaged her eye. Jamie sat by her "please be okay Amile... You're my only other friend" Jamie slowly hugged the unconscious Amile
