After a few hours they were woken up by Rodrigo saying "Hey you two love birds get up time to eat" they sat up blushing and Isaac looked away "Shut up man" Rodrigo chuckled "you ain't denying it though" They got up and walked over to a table with bowls filled with stew. Isaac sighed "this looks okay but I would've preferred something made by Kira." Cole nodded "I might be mad but I have to agree with that statement. This stuff is nowhere near Kira's level. still good but not amazing" Kira smiled "glad you all loved my cooking" everyone ate and the earlier feelings calmed down but the kids were still a little shaken up. Isaac sighed wistfully "Man this feels almost normal... almost" Kira nodded "yeah but you're covered in blood." Isaac shook his head "It's fine they're giving us new clothes soon anyway. Until then let's be open about something" Emma looked at him "open about what exactly?" Isaac sighed "about our past... I've done some stuff and I'd rather you guys know this before someone else tells you" Rodrigo sighed "you sure you want to tell them" Isaac nodded "yeah. Guys before this I was on my way to prison" Kira Raised an eyebrow as Cole looked at him "it wasn't for touching kids, right?" Isaac looked at him "what? no! I was convicted for murder. I killed my brother" Everyone's eyes widened except Rodrigo's plus the kids who had finished eating and were talking to each other. Emma stared at Isaac "you... Killed your own brother... What the fuck?" Isaac sighed "I'm not proud of it but he made life hell... He hurt my mom and sister so a few days before the outbreak I snapped and planned to just slit his throat as he slept... It was so easy and I don't regret it. I was arrested and charged as an adult for first degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison" Cole sighed "wow man... Look I don't care what you did before frankly being murderer is a handy skill now" Emma nodded as Isaac looked at Kira "what's your opinion?" Without thinking she blurted out "I like a guy who protects his loved ones" she blinked and Isaac chuckled "okay and you Alice?" She shrugged "I don't know but you've earned my trust" Isaac smiled a bit "glad you guys are fine with this now what's your pasts?" Kira sighed "I guess I'll share my past. I lived in Indiana but came down to Texas for a Cheer competition. On our way back our bus broke down In Bartlesville. we got a hotel until the bus was fixed but the next morning people were eating each other. me and my friends stuck together until those bandits or whatever found us three months later. I ran then found Isaac and you know who in a back room and you guys know the rest." Cole nodded "That seems more normal than Mr.Stabby" Isaac chuckled "Oh shut up Cole. also Kira you're a long way from home" she sighed "Home wouldn't be any better than here" Isaac raise an eyebrow "what's that supposed to mean?" She shrugged "nothing... Cole what's your tale?" Cole shrugged "pretty basic It was James's eight birthday when suddenly a crazed walker crashed it and bit my mom I got them off her. Me, Emma, James, Jamie and our mom piled into our van. we drove to the hospital but there was traffic Jam then she just turned. we threw her out and just drove out of Houston. three months into our journey our car breaks down and we met you. end of story But Rodrigo and Alice what's your story?" Alice took a moment to think. "Well me and Rodrigo were at school that day It was... crazy as hell. one kid was biting another and a teacher broke it apart but he got bit in the process. the teacher told us to take the bitten kid to the nurse so we did but once we dropped him off an announcement came on telling us school was over and to go home immediately. when we stepped out it was utter chaos. we went to my house together and tried to find our family but no luck. so we survived together four days later we met Isaac and mil. three months later we met the rest of you and some mouth breathing creeps." Kira looked at amile "what about her? how'd she come to be with you guys?" Isaac sighed "Three days into the outbreak I found her sneaking up on me and not much else" Dean walked in with a box of clothes "Alright here's some clean clothes he left them on the ground and walked out. Isaac immediately changed "uh how do I look?" He showed everyone
