THIRTY-THREE

The following Saturday, Bella and the other members of 2NE1, except CL, gathered in the dance practice room. It was an order they received from YG himself.

What did he need them in here for? They had no clue.

That was until said man, walked into the practice room and the four women immediately greeted him with bows.

"Good afternoon, ladies."

"Afternoon!"

"Hi." came Bella's dry response.

"I'm sure you guys are wondering why I asked you to come in here." YG said, his eyes scanning the four of them. "Chaelin is a very convincing leader and she asked me to allow you guys to perform with her at MAMA next week. I didn't agree at first-"

Of course you didn't., Bella said in her head, almost rolling her eyes.

"-But eventually I realized it was about time you girls got back on stage and perform again. Especially with the..." YG raised his hand and waved it around in the direction of Bella and Bom, who stood by each other, "..fiasco that you guys went through."

"Wow really?" Minzy asked, shock clearly written all over her face.

"Yes, now get to practicing. You will be performing Fire and I Am The Best, after Chaelin's solo. I have a flashdrive from CL, it should help you out with practice."

"Wow, thank you! Thank you so much!" Dara, Minzy and Bom grinned, almost squealing in excitement.

Bella couldn't help but let a small smile break on her face. For once, YG was doing something right. And for once, she was happy with him.

"Thank you, this means a lot to us." Bella piped in, giving the man a subtle nod, which he returned.

"Of course. I will send an email with more information for you guys. Keep an eye out for it."

"Yes, sir!"

YG adjusted his hat with another nod, "Good luck." He turned around and left.

All of a sudden, Bella heard a shrill screech coming from her side and she turned to see her sisters jumping around in glee.

"We're going to MAMA!"

"I can't believe it!"

Bom fanned herself with her hands, "Oh goodness, I'm so nervous. Will the fans and the people still accept me?"

Bella threw her arm over the older girl's shoulder, "Of course! If they don't, I say forget them. What matters more are the people that still love you."

"Yeah, Bella's right."

"I'm nervous too... but I'm more excited. I can't wait to feel the thrill and the loud pop from the fans." Bella sighed, playing the image of the crowd cheering for them once again.

Minzy's voice broke her away from her thoughts, "Hey guys, come over here so we can watch the video CL unnie made for us."

The girls gathered around Minzy, watching the video load up before it finally began to play. They watched it together in silence, doing their best to focus on what exactly they were supposed to do. Of course, it was nothing too major, these were their two big songs they ever came out with. They knew the dance by heart.

"Wow..."

"Chaelin said that Minzy can do her split thing she always does like when we were on tour!" Dara smiled at the second youngest. "Will you do it?"

Minzy gave her a side-eye before smirking right after, "Do I really have to answer that? Because you know my answer is YES!"

"Well then what are we waiting for?" Bella looked at the others, "Let's get started!"

"Woohoo!"

Bella rushed over to the speakers and plugged in her phone, going through her list of music she had on her phone, then played Fire.

"I go by the name of CL of 2NE1. It's been a long time comin' but we here now.. 

And we 'bout to set the roof on fire baby (uh oh),

You better get yours,  'cause I'm gettin' mine.."

"Five, six, seven, eight!"

"Eh eh eh eh eh eh e-h.. 2NE1!"

The 2NE1 members all shouted the name of their group, giggling right after, and continued to dance along to their song. Not exactly in synchronization, it was practice after all and it definitely has been a while.

"You better ring the alarm!"

After Fire, was I Am The Best which went by quickly. The girls were having so much fun, they went through both song twice.

They finally finished practice and sat in a circle together, sipping from their water bottles.

"So what else are we doing for our performance?" Bella asked, sitting back on her hands that laid flat on the floor, supporting her weight.

"Hmm... Do you know how Chaelin always shouts Bom's name before her verse?" Dara said, brushing her hair back.

"Mhm."

"How about you shout her name this time instead of CL? I'm sure she'd be okay with it. We'll just have to ask when we see her."

"Sure." Bella shrugged, then took another drink of her water. She was fine with anything, as long as her members were too.

"And I will continue to hype you guys up when you guys do your own thing."

"And.. we'll do the same!"

Bom tapped on her phone, "It's almost 7. We should head back to the dorms, clean up and go out for dinner?"

"Okay-"

Bella scrambled to her feet, almost slipping since she was just in her socks. "Last one to the dorms is the one that has to pay!" She slipped into her shoes, almost tripping again before dashing out of the room.

Minzy laughed and quickly ran after the youngest, followed by Dara.

"Oh come on! You guys know I don't like to run!" Bom yelled after them. Huffing when she heard the door shut. "Those little brats.." Bom shook her head, but she couldn't help but let out a tired laugh. "Too bad I'll be leaving my wallet at home!"

Bom snickered evilly as she gathered her things and slowly walked back to the dorms, with delicious rice cake and ramen pictured in her head.

and here's a new chap! so sorry it's short and so sorry for the wait, i've been really busy. but i definitely didn't forget about my books. just a few more chapters and this story will soon be ending.
