I woke up the next morning feeling a bit better from the Medicine, when I woke up the baby's were still asleep I went downstairs and pumped and went back upstairs and I saw the triplets were all awake but not crying I fed them all and they were amused so I just left them there
I went to my phone to see if Allison or Someone had texted me but I saw 30 missed calls and 50 messages and 10 voicemails from Derek I thought about calling him back but he broke my hand and wrist so I decided not to
The triplets were old enough for daycare so I took them to daycare and went to the grocery store and picked up the essentials for me and the boys I payed
And went to pick up the triplets I drove us home and put them on the floor so they could lay on their stomach, I got a call from Allison and picked up
"Hey Allie, what's up"
"Mer you need to come to the hospital there's something wrong with Derek"
"What did he get in an accident!"
"No, no nothing like that he just he's not himself he said you left"
"I came home last night late and he broke my hand and wrist what was I supposed to do!!!"
"He what?!"
"Yea"
"Ok you can treat him like crap but just please come"
"Ugh fine"
I hung up and put the triplets in their carrier and then in the car with their diaper bag I started driving to the hospital
I really didn't want to go but I still love him so I feel the need to go
Once I got there I went into the hospital I brought the boys to daycare and I called Allison and asked her where Derek was and she said in the lobby I said I was only gonna go if I wasn't alone she said she would be in there with me
So I went to the lobby Derek was sitting on the long black sofa he looked as if he hadn't slept his hair was a mess and he was wearing old baggy clothes he looked like a homeless person I almost burst out laughing I decided not to, Jackson was there too I looked and Allison who had just walked in and I smiled at her and she looked like she wanted to laugh just as much as I did which was the great thing about our friendship
Owen looked at us like we were insane but I held it together and said something
"So you break my bones and then cry about it when I leave"
"What?" He said his voice shanking
"Last night when I came home late you grabbed my wrist and broke my hand and wrist," I said and showed him my left hand
"I-I'm so sorry mer I did-didn't mean to, I'm so so sorry I shouldn't have got-gotten so mad"
"Well I suggest you figure things out with your anger problems, that is if you wanna see you're kids again," I said and walked out with Allison right behind me
"Can I ask you something?" Allison asked
"Sure, what is it?"
"Can I stay with you for a while bc things aren't going well with me and Jackson?"
"Yea of course!"
"Thanks"
We started walking down the halls "so does mark know you're going to be staying with me?"
"No, not really I just told him things aren't going to work, I mean he told me the abortion was a choice WE should have made!"
"Men are idiots, no not men, men don't act like that, guys! not even guys boys!"
"Yes!, why did we even fall for those idiots"
"I have no idea, I wish I had just been a lesbian"
"Same"
"MEREDITH" we heard behind us
"Fuck" I mumbled
"This should be good," Allison said sarcastically
"Oh yeah a total blast"
"Meri sorry just....please," he said
"Fine" I sighed
"You gave in!" Allison practically yelled
"What was I supposed to do!"
"I don't know, not give in!"
"Well.......shut up!"
"Fine, fine I'm done work let's go to you're place"
"Yea let's go, but we have to stop at your place to get your stuff"
"Yea"
We went into my car since she drove here with Jackson We went to her apartment well now Allison apartment and packed all her things and loaded them into the trunk of my car we got in the car and drove to my cabin we got out of the car and I helped her get her thing up to her room, I told her I was going to pick the baby's I left to the hospital I picked up the baby's and drove back home and brought the triplets up to their nursery I gave them a bath Allison came in and helped me dry them and put baby lotion on them, we dressed them in thin white onesies I breastfed them and put them to bed, Cristina went to her bathroom to take a shower and I went to mine and took a shower when I was done I dried myself and my hair I put on a black nightgown and called the pizza place and ordered pizza for dinner.
20 minutes later I heard the doorbell ring I went downstairs and opened to door to who was supposed to be the pizza guy...
"Derek, what are you doing here? and how did you find me?"
"I asked Allison, I'm really sorry for what I did I didn't mean to hurt you or the boys I love you and the boys more than anything in this world and I'll do everything I can to prove that to you, you don't have to forgive me I just don't want this to break us apart, we're supposed to be together forever and I know I shouldn't have overreacted when you came home late, but I can't change the past I can only change the future and I want to spend it with you and are boys and hopefully more kids in the future, so please can we move past this?"
At this point, I was already crying so much I couldn't talk so I hugged him and held him tight so tight I don't want to let go, and THEN the pizza man came not even then we broke apart Derek just handed him thirty dollars and told him to keep the change he just stood there with the pizza box in his hand
"I'm...just....gonna take this" Allison said and took the pizza box and went inside with it
We finally pulled apart "you can come inside if you want?"
"Sure" he smiled
We went inside and went upstairs into my room I went into bed he stripped into only boxers and came in bed with me he went behind me pulled me close to him with my back to his chest and we fell asleep
Well this was fun wasn't it!
