Pearl: we leave for one second and everything goes off the rails!
It's been two days since Stevens visit to the doctor and boy he wasn't making any progress. He already had problems with his pink powers but when Greg tried to calm him down he accidentally crashes his car after getting pissed off at how he never talked about his side of the family. Now Steven was at home while his parents were away for the weekend
Steven: I said I was sorry!
Pearl: that's no excuse! You know how fragile your father is, These pink outbursts of yours are getting out of hand
Steven: IT'S NOT AN OUTBURST!
As he says that he glows pink again. From the pain erupting from his body, from his sharp teeth, to his claws, to the purple splotches on his skin to the spikes on the back
Pearl: see? This is exactly what I'm talking about! What is happening to you?
Steven: none of your business rock!
Pearl: excuse me?!
Steven: just leave me alone!

Garnet: it looks like Stevens avoiding a serious conversation about this altogether
Steven: no, IM NOT!!!
As he says so, he grows a little larger, his snout stretches a little bit as his arms elongate into raptor like arms and his legs stretched, the bones within him snapping and breaking turning him less human and more animal
Garnet: Steven! Please! Let us help you
