Chapter 39: First Period

I stay on the bathroom floor not having the energy to stand up. I've been sitting for about 10 minutes and notice that Enzo is nowhere to be seen.

Footsteps are heard as I'm relieved Enzo came back. As Enzo enters the bathroom, I notice it's not Enzo but Xavier, 'great' (note the sarcasm).

I don't want to be seen in this state especially in front of my most powerful and emotionless brother. Instead of the usual emotionless face though, I see only concern fill his eyes as he looks at me.

"Where did...Enzo...go.." I say while I still try catching my breath.

"Don't worry, I told him to call the doctor earlier. Let's get you to bed little one" There again with the nickname.

I try standing up with all the energi i have left but stumble forward from the spinning in my head. Xavier moves quickly and catches me as he picks me up (bridal style).

"Let me down, I can walk" I say with a dry throat as I look up at him.

"Ordering your eldest brother around? you're really not well" He says with an amused smirk. I just sigh, not having the energy for a response.

As he lays me down on my bed I hear my door open and Noah, Hunter and Julian enter the room.

"My baby, please tell me you're feeling better" Noah says as he throws himself at me and gives me a bone crushing hug.

"Dude, she can't breathe if you hug her like that, give her some space" Julian explains with a smirk.

"Sorry" Noah says shyly as he breaks the hug. "So how are you feeling midget?" Hunet asks, turning my attention towards him. I close my eyes for a few seconds trying to think of exactly how I feel. My head still hurts a bit.

I don't feel so sick anymore after throwing up and the spinning in my head is beginning to disappear. Although, I feel some pain starting to form in my lower stomach area as well as my lower back. I also feel kind of hungry, well i haven't eaten so much today so that's not weird.

"I feel better all thought... i've started to feel some crampings" I say unsure of what it is that i'm feeling.

"What kind of crampings?" Enzo asks. 'Wait where did Enzo come from?'

"Enzo was talking with the doctor and Zach just arrived" Xavier explains as he notices my confused look. I realize Zach is also in the same room as he explains.

"What kind of crampings Aria?" Xavier repits Enzo's question only a thousand times more harshly.

"I don't know.. like on my lower back and stomach area" I say confused, making it sound like a question. All my brothers frown at this, making me nervous.

"B-but it's probably n-nothing hehe" I awkwardly say with a shy smile. They just keep staring at me not knowing what to say.

"Well would you look at the time" Hunter says as he exits the room in a hurry.

"Yeah... i'm out of here" Zach says with an emotionless face. He exits the room with Julian right behind him. Julian gives an awkward smile towards me before he leaves the room, making me confused.

"Um, w-what di-did I do?" I stutter looking at my remaining brothers confused, looking for answers. Xavier just sighs while Enzo and Noah give me a reassuring smile.

"My angel is growing up so fast" Enzo says as he fake cries making me giggle.

"What are you guys talking about? I only have a little stomach ache. It's probably nothing" i explain.

"My little pumpkin is getting her first period" Noah says out of the blue making my jaw drop. I may not know a lot of grown up stuff but I sure as hell know what a period is and I am not excited about it.

"NOOO!" I yell dramatically, slapping my hand on my face like the world is ending.

"Oh baby don't worry i'll take care of you" Enzo tries calming me down.

"Yeah what he said" Noah says as I smile at them for not leaving me, like some other brothers did.

"Hey Xavier, where are you going? our baby sis needs us right now" Enzo asks as Xavier exits the room. 'Not him too'.

"I'm going out, i need to buy some things" He says with his back turned towards us. 'He probably has nothing to buy and is just disgusted with me' I think as I feel slightly ashamed.

"Don't look so sad now, he'll be back in no time" Noah says with a smile.
