After two days of having the knights look for Merlin, Arthur decides to go with them.
Arthur's POV
"Sir, there's no sign of Merlin anywhere," Leon tells me.
"Keep looking. We'll split up," I have my horse turn stopping the others. "Leon, Gwaine you're with me. Percival, Lancelot you're heading south."
After two hours of searching I hear a cracking sound. I stop my horse and hold out my hand stopping the others. I jump off the horse and pull out my sword.
"Who's there?" I say in a fighting position.
Just then Merlin comes out from the trees smiling. He's completely covered in mud.
I drop my sword,"Merlin!" I smile and hug Merlin. "I'd thought we'd lost you!"
After the small hug Leon offers Merlin his horse. Merlin accepts respectfully. The way back to Camelot was strangely quiet. There was no word from Merlin.
After we arrived back in Camelot Merlin went to his chambers, and I checked on Guinevere.
