Allies (Chapter 19)

*Continuation of Chapter 16 Pt.2*

Ragaz's POV

We were observing the new environment while following the man who is leading us to meet their leaders. We stopped when he turned to bow at us before entering the stone castle.

As we pass the guards at each side of the doorway, we noticed their eyes strangely have the same colour as us but they had a hint of green that  resembles the forest. We looked at each other knowingly before finally entering the castle.

Author's POV

When they stepped inside, an enormous wave of aura or energy went through them surprising the four of them. As they walk closer, a group of more than 10 people were waiting in front of the main part of the castle. Again, they strangely had the same coloured eyes as them but some also had a hint of green and even gold in their eyes.

Ragaz groaned as he felt a sudden pain hit his neck and stomach. There were bandages all over his body. The group noticed but Ragaz immediately waved them off.

"Are you okay, my friend ?" Nukkra who was beside him asked, concerned. Ragaz could only nod and raised his head to look at the people in front of them.

Sounds of footsteps could be heard at the distance. The sight of two guards coming towards their direction. Although their clothing are similar with other guards, it was slightly different. And again they had the same colored eyes as the others but one of the two guards had specks of gold to it and the other one had more of a lighter shade of blue.

"Its an honor to meet you. Please follow us" The guard stated as he bowed respectfully at them.

They were led to another door that leads to another room. The walls were higher than the ones before they entered the castle and had more wider space. There were doors with cryptic texts and unknown writings and languages. Some of the walls were covered with them as well.

At the distance, further away from them, where the two leaders stood along with their children. The presence of their leaders were overwhelming for the four Neanthals.

The four could feel the aura of power around the family especially their leaders. Everyone could feel it even from a far distance, even before the four was escorted to their lands, even when Ragaz was still unconscious. They could feel it lingering around the air. They stopped just a few meters away from them. The two guards bowed including the four to which the family returned as well.

"Rise" One of them spoke.

Everyone then abides to his word. The sight of the the family in front of them brought questions in their head. The children have the same blue coloured eyes except two has a darker shade of blue. The two of the four children has hints of green while the other two, hint of gold.

When they moved their gaze towards the two leaders, to say the four are shocked is understandable. It was her eyes. It was nothing they have seen before. Her eyes were different than everyone else. A rare eye colour than the ones of a normal Neanthal and even Igutu. Most of all, her eyes held power.

It was a vibrant forest green with hints of gold swirling in around them. There was a speck of blue as well.

Her husband had the same coloured eyes as everyone else but it was more of a darker shade of blue. Even so, high power radiates from them. It was overwhelming for the four Neanthals.

When the couple moved closer to where they were, their height difference with the four was widely noticeable. The couple were at least 4 or more inches taller than the four of them along with their children who's at least less than 2 inches taller than their parents.

"Although we didnt expect to have guests this early, we shall still welcome you no matter the circumstances that are given" The man spoke.

"We will begin now...if you will" The man continued as he and his wife began walking towards the wooden table.

The two guards bowed respectfully at everyone and went back to their posts. The four Neanthals then sat down along with the two eldest child. The other two went elsewhere for something their parents asked them to do relating to the meeting.

"Greetings, my kind. We are honored to finally meet you" The man stated.

"Finally ?" Muttzareu questioned.

The man chuckled and continued, "My wife, Esmaea and I, Zaroen. And here is our tribe, our kingdom and our home, Natura. We shall discuss an important matter now"

"The next thing might sound unreal. The four of you dont have to say anything but all we want is for you to listen"

"We know who you are and we are the same kind as the four of you. All of us, here are not of a different species or race beside the unique borns"

The four of them didnt know how to react after Zaroen's statement. They did expect something else but they got confused after seeing something they have never seen before.

"Have you heard about the writings you were taught in your village ? About Artemis Carman and the five kingdoms ?" He asked to which they nodded.

"My wife was the third to be born during the first generation of our kind. The third kingdom belongs here. During the second generation, I was the fifth one to be born"

"The group among your age was born during the nineth generation while the elderly and superiors in your tribe was born between the seventh and eighth generation"

"The younglings of your tribe was born during the tenth generation. There is more who were born or is to be born during this tenth generation of our kind. Our kind have long exist. The first age where homo sapiens were created and exist alongside us with other beings unbeknownst to them was during the seventh generation of our kind"

"Come, my friends. We have something to show you" Zaroen said as he stood up helping his wife as well. As soon as he said that, the door was opened.
