your tender words kiss the ache in me

the sickest part of this twisted game is
that i believe it when you say it
sweet talk dripping honey off your tongue
you spin the most beautiful lie for me
kiss it deep within my heart and soul
until i forget the knife you twist
burgundy bites and baby blue bruises
you leave behind these open wounds
deceived to think you are protecting me
instead of suffocating the life out of me
your beautiful smile is a wicked grin
pulling me into the crash of your body
how can a touch so electric become
something that poisons from within
take me into your ocean arms embrace
show me your explosive love once more
so your cherry lips deceive me again
and i'll fall into you until the end of time
