"What did the lawyer say?" Janay asked Cardi.

"We can only get a restraining order against Paris, and that's about it," Cardi answered Janay.

"Damn, are you sure we can't go and beat her ass?"Nettie asked Cardi.

Cardi shook her head no.

"Nope, Maddox, wants to handle this situation the right way so she can be out of our lives for good, but if she crosses the line, then I can beat her ass," Cardi explained.

Maddox walked into the kitchen pissed as Quiava followed him with her heels in her hand and her hair messed up.

"What the fuck happened to you?" Nettie asked Quiava.

Quiava took a seat at the kitchen table, glaring at Maddox.

"So, we're in a meeting, and we hear yelling, and I go out to see who it is, and guess who it was?" Quiava asked.

Cardi slammed her hands on the table.

"She showed up to your place of business, and you ain't call me?" Cardi asked Maddox.

Maddox groaned.

"I didn't have time to think about calling you when Quiava just rushed the girl before I could say anything," Maddox answered.

"His ass froze up like he saw a ghost while she was talking about needing money or taking the kids for child support," Quiava said.

"I guess she doesn't know she does not have rights to the kids anymore," Janay said.

"So, that's why she's back; she needs money," Cardi said. She looked at Maddox. "Call her up and tell her to come over," She said.

Nettie raised her eyebrows at the possibility that Cardi might give Paris money, but she thought about it, and she agreed to support it. Maybe, money will keep Paris out of her family's life for good.

"You want to give her money," Maddox said.

"No, I'm going to show her why I look like my dad," Cardi said as she stood up and walked away from the kitchen table and out of the kitchen.

Janay looked at Maddox and frowned.

"You need to grow some balls and stop acting like a lost puppy. Cardi ain't playing, and you already know how we are coming behind her, so pick the right side and stay on that side, sir," Janay said.

"Period," Nettie said.

"What do you want us to do to her?" Kope, Cardi's cousin, asked Cardi.

After finding out that Paris was now popping up at all of the Maxwells' businesses. So, she called her cousins: Kope, Andres, and Vonte, over to her mom's house so she could have them handle Paris.

"I want you guys to scare her ass real good like I want her running out of town and never stepping foot back here," Cardi explained.

"Who are we going after?" Vonte asked.

"Paris Webb," Cardi answered.

"I think I've heard of her," Andres said.

"When? Where?" Cardi asked Andres.

"Yeah, she owes my homeboy, Marcos money," Andres answered.

"Even better, call him up and let him know where she is and then handle her ass together," Cardi said.

"Yo, Cardi; You're evil," Kope said.

Cardi smirked.

"I'm only evil when someone fucks with my family," Cardi said.

"Maddox, you need to take your ass to the police station," Jean said as soon as Maddox answered his phone.

"Why? What happened?" Maddox asked Jean.

"Cardi was just arrested and charged with two misdemeanors, assault, and reckless endangerment. I called the lawyer to meet her at the police station, and he called me and said she had a mug shot taken and was fingerprinted," Jean explained to Maddox.

Maddox grabbed his car keys and headed to the parking lot to get in his car.

"What the fuck? What did she do?" Maddox asked as he unlocked his car.

"She's being charged for allegedly ordering an attack on Paris," Jean answered.

"Damn it," Maddox said as he got in the car.

"Just bail her out," Jean said.

"I'm going to do more than that; find Paris, and you know what to do," Maddox said.

"Yes, sir," Jean said.
