The Class Clown And The Class President

Josh POV

7:26 a.m

"It should be illegal to come to school this early " I mumbled entering the class.

Scanning over the classroom, I half expected no one to be here but ofcourse Rory was , not suprised to be honest.

It wouldn't take a genius to realize to he hates me , well in his case most people do actually but I don't really care it just makes it that much more fun to annoy the fuck out of them.

Making my way over to him , he looked lifeless almost , his head resting on the table and hands swaying at each side . " Good Morning Officer " I beamed tapping his shoulder and pulling out the seat next to him.

To my suprise he actually he actually turned around , a look of boredom mixed with exhaustion plastered on his face , his hair falling in his face and his jet black looking eyes staring attentively at me .

They were mesmerizing to say the least but before I could even get a word out he turned back right around .

Tapping him again , he turned again ; " Curious why I'm so early? " I asked trying to spark his attention .

"No , not really...but do enlighten me " he half whispered the last part.

Well isn't he just full of suprises .

Satisfied I managed to get his attention I continued " My little sister needed help carrying over some supplies to her school , something about the photography club-"

His mouth opened like he wanted to say something but he didn't budge and just closed it back .

"Cat got your tongue?" I questioned curious as to what he had to say .

"No.."

"You two boys , help carry these books over to the History class would you?" we were interrupted by Mr Murphy.

Almost as if he was thankful for the interruption Rory got up first, strange kid.

The walk to the history was silent , the only thing audible being our foot steps echoing against the empty hallways . After Mr. Murphy thanked us we were currently on our way back to the classroom.

"I'm gonna head to the canteen to buy something, you coming?" I suggested to him.

"No " he briefly stopped to answer before continuing his walk.

"Alrighty then , see you in class " I slightly yelled , the distance between us growing but he didn't reply.

" I SAID SEE YOU IN CLASS RORY" I yelled the second time.

The look on his face was priceless , putting a finger over his mouth indicating for me to shush , he hastened his speed and was quickly out of sight.

Yeah he definetly hates me.

12:07 p.m

"Shut the hell up that wasn't even funny " Kile hissed at us .

It was currently lunch time and Maleek , Kile and I were at our usual table in the cafeteria . I've known them since 8th grade ever since we forced to be in a group for a labs project and we almost burnt the place down we've been inseparable since.

"Your just pissed cause it's true " I added laughing .

" Fucking idiots " he hissed again.

"Is that so? , let's see what the rest of Cafeteria thinks , right Josh? " Maleek questioned giving a me playful look.

"That's a great idea my friend " I said scanning the cafeteria to make sure no teachers were around , I was ready to broadcast the joke until my eyes landed on one particular Officer.

Spinning back around my mind was now more interested in a different topic " You guys know Rory ?" I questioned .

"Who? " Kile questioned back

" Him " I said discretely pointing towards Rory.

"Oh Bianchi? " Maleek answered.

" Bianchi? That's his last name ?"

" Yeah ,he was actually born in Italy but moved here with his Dad afterwards " Maleek stated .

" How the fuck do you know all this information ?" I questioned.

" Maleek knows all young grasshoppers ..... and his dad works the same place as my dad and whenever they have those dinners , you know the ones where my dad forces me to go? Yeah , his dad always goes on and on about his precious Rory " he finished all in one breath.

"So you guys knew each other all this time?" I questioned.

" No , not really , he doesn't ever show to any of the dinners strangely enough "

" Maybe he uses the opportunity to bring his fuck buddies over " Kile added making me laugh.

" Him? Nahhh , I don't think he likes humans on a scale overall or maybe just me...but still I highly doubt that " I stated .

"I mean it's you Josh...I wouldn't like you either besides who knows he could be a player ,  girls are into the whole dark and emo shit " Maleek spoke up.

" I'm telling you bro, he can't even start up a conversation properly , Watch! " I exclaimed getting up and now making my way over to Rory's table .

" Hey Officer " I smiled taking the empty seat in front of him but he just simply looked up and went back to picking at his food.

" You know I can never tell if your planning World War 4 or just not in a good mood , you should try smiling more often " I stated causing him to look up .

"Look Josh , I don't mind you sitting there but I'm not in the mood for your talking yeah? " he finished and went back to picking at his food once again .

Who the fuck stole his highness's crown?

"Well sorry your highness, I'll just take my leave then " and with that I was already making my way back over to Maleek and Kile , and by the way they were laughing they probably caught gist of what happened.

I couldn't tell if I was more impressed by how much words I got out of him or how rude he was , but I dont think he realizes how he just ruined his last year for himself ... this should be fun

3:40 p.m

" Alright class , get home safely and enjoy the rest of your day " Mr. Murphy said dismissing us.

Eyes drifting towards Rory I couldn't help but think maybe I should just leavr him alone .

" Can we leave like now? I need to reach home early today " Maleek interrupted my thoughts , his bag already over his shoulder.

"Yeah sure " I answered .

We both exited the classroom and was currently towards the gates , that was until my eyes caught glimpse of a certain someone .

Rory

" Give me a sec bro , promise I won't take long " I said my feet already moving towards him but I couldn't help but catch the exaggerated sigh that escaped his mouth.

" Hey Rory " I said approaching him to which he just gave a dull look before swinging his bag over his back and getting up to leave .

I know I said I was going to make his last year hell but for some reason I just didn't like him ignoring me.

Running up to him to block his path I continued " Look , sorry I was being annoying today yeah? truce? " .

That made him stop and he finally spoke up " Fine Josh , can I go now? "

" Oh ..yeah " I said moving out of his way to which he gave an obviously forced smile and started walking towards what looked like his parent's van.

" BYE OFFICER " I yelled causing a few eyes to turn and Rory to pick up his speed .

He hates me.

Walking back over to Maleek, I noticed the confusion on his face " Don't ask "

"You really should just leave the poor boy alone " he stated .
