"Eh, I just wanted to know if you still know our sleepovers? You know the second time I almost fell off?"

"Oh my god, yeah I do you were a dumbass for doing that....still are though", you say as you looked in different directions

"I- STILL?!", he playfully got offended and crossed his arms

"Jeez dude I was only kidding and you know that", you say as you tried to calm him down

He didn't answer and you didn't really care since he will get over it like he always does until you saw a broken escalator "Lex lets go up there, and now!", you say as you drag him by his wrist, to the escalator "JESUS CHRIST ALRIGHT DUDE", he says as he started to run with you
As you two went over to the escalator, you looked at the escalator to see if it's even safe to walk on, you put one foot on the steps and was about to put the second one until Alex stopped you by holding your wrist back

"Woah there y/n I don't think this thing is safe for the both of us, I mean it's old and pretty rotten and we could easily break it"

"I already put my foot in there what's the worse that can happen?", you say as you slowly put your other foot. Alex's grip loosened up since he concentrated on your leg.

"...see? nothing happened", you took your hand away from his and walked carefully up the stairs
You looked back down at Alex who was now also on the staircase, you decided to wait for him while being in the middle of the escalator. As he got more closer, you held out your hand for him to grab since you could see how much he was worried about falling down in some sort

After reaching the second floor, there was immediately a big hole in the center, which metal ramps all over, which people from the other side can see "What kind of mall is this?", you ask as you turn to Alex. "I don't know...its kinda weird that it has a giant hole here, someone must've tried to fix it but ended up fucking it up", he says as he put his hands in his pockets

"Yeah, that could be the case...", you say as you leaned over to the ramp and just looked on the other side of the giant window, there were a lot of people walking around in different directions. the abandoned mall was pretty seeable since it was known to be unfinished and in a sort of location where almost everyone can see, and people all over new york can visit inside from time to time.

You looked at a lot of people and many cars until you found someone, walking out of the same bar Alex worked, he rather familiar-looking, you couldn't really see the face since their back was turned, but the guy took out what looked like a vape then turned around. You couldn't believe who you just saw, who was smoking out of the vape

It was Sapnap

"Oh my god...", you reacted quietly. "What's wrong?" Alex asked as he trying to look at where you were looking. You pointed directly at Nick so Alex could see "Is that...your cousin?", he asked looking at him then back to you

"What? No, he is way better than my cousin, in fact, he is a team member, that's Nick or how we call him, Sapnap", you say as you still kept an eye for Nick

"Oh that guy Karl talked about, alright...you look very excited to see him...do you wanna like, talk to him?"

"Of course, I do! I know it's been only 1-2 days but I miss almost everyone back in Boston. Except for, you know, Malcolm", you say as you looked back at Alex

"If you really want to talk to him that bad, I guess it won't hurt if we'll just go to him and have a small talk, maybe introduce me and the others as well if you want that though" Alex leaned back as he kept focusing on you for your answer.

"Can we go now?" you were kinda pressuring him to go

"Yeah of course let's go now, but shouldn't we alert the others?" Alex grabbed his phone and unlocked it by using his passcode

"Yeah you can send them a message now, now cmon!" you desperately wanted him to meet Sapnap, so you quickly ran downstairs and immediately tried to find the exit. Alex quickly caught up to you.
As you guys found the exit, your walking became from running. You tried to remember which directions to go to. "Alex come on I don't want you to miss it!"

You two quickly turned to the right and finally saw Nick, he was about to walk away until you called him

"NICK!"

He got a bit startled but quickly turned around as soon as you called from afar
"Y/n?! Is that you?!" he quickly put his vape in his pocket and ran up to you with open arms

You were a little tired from running all the way from the mall to him, you tried catching your breath as well as walking up to him

As he ran up to you, he didn't stop running he gave you a big hug which made you take a few steps backward but you eventually hugged him back, not long after he broke the hug
He cupped your face and looked up/down at your face, since the last time he ever saw you in person you were very bruised up

"Are you ok?! Are Karl and Techno ok? Where did you find shelter in the past days?", Sapnap was heavily breathing but made eye contact with you

"I'm fine Sap, no need to ask so many questions. First off, try to catch your breath man" You put both of your hands on his shoulder, and one of your hands ended up patting his back

Sapnap looked behind you the back at you, to see alex panting. "Hey, who's this" he asked while fixing his cap that he was wearing

You turned around to see Alex just standing there with his arms crossed, not sweating or heavily breathing "OH, right Sapnap, meet Alex my childhood best friend. Alex meet Sapnap a team member, also the one who reloads most of the guns" You say as you step aside for Alex

"Hey man, i heard you are the underboss, ey?" Nick smirked at him and held his hand out for him
You look at Nick with a smile but then looked at to Alex to see if his reaction, your smile slowly faded because Alex's face. He just looked at him while raising an eyebrow, it looked like he was disgusted

"Hello..Sapnap I heard a lot about you"
