Chapter Fourteen

∘˚˳°✧ғᴏᴜʀᴛᴇᴇɴ||

The shower from the bathroom can be heard outside. The sound of pop music playing were loud that people who loves their rest will surely shout in anger.
Cold and soft bed can be felt and Y/n couldn't help but snuggle herself closely to the pillow.

As her hand squeezed the white bouncy pillow, her nose twitch before she slowly opened her eyes to only realize where she was.

She sat down before looking around the room, trying to deduce what might've happened after she pass out before coughing when a certain scene entered her mind.

Patting her chest, Y/n breath and tried to calm herself before leaving the bed and comb her finger through her hair before pulling a slipper and went outside with only a robe, which she might've guess that someone—and not Adrien, took off her smelly dress.

As she neared Nathalie's room, she suddenly paused, remembering that she didn't take any clothes with her.

Sighing in exasperation, she groaned before turning back and walk back to their room.

"I swear, that wine had really hit me hard" she muttered while adding colorful words and opened the door to see Adrien wiping his hair with a short towel.

"Oh, you're awake. You can take a bath while i get some breakfast" The boy said immediately and left that even his hair were not completely dried off. Y/n frowned and notice something strange but couldn't put a finger on it.

Shrugging, she ignored Adrien's strange reaction and went to take a bath brushing off the idea of going to Nathalie's. When Y/n got out of the bathroom, she saw the room empty with only the food on the table.

She couldn't understand what's happening so she can only sigh before seating on the chair and ate the breakfast Adrien had ordered.

In this large room, a girl seats in front of the table, eating alone looks so lonely and cold.

When Y/n went out, she remembered that she still has Adrien's credit car. Although it's shameless to use what's not hers, her poorness can only be solve through this.

The same as the first time she toured, she went to withdraw some money before buying foods while strolling the hotel.
The hotel was wide and has many places to go, and she remembered there was a gaming area around.

Having that goal in mind, Y/n munch the food she bought and tried to find the gaming area mindlessly. As she was walking, a person hit her legs and she can only look up and sigh in exasperation knowing the person when he exclaimed in a rather brave tone.

"Sister!!"

Y/n can only look down and give a tight smile at the kid ...Lucas

"I think you have mistaken me from someone else" she said and the boy only gave her a puppy eyes and she bit her lips not wanting to make the kid cry and make people misunderstand her of bullying a kid she presumed to be around the age of five or four.

"but you're my sister—"

"Lucas! I've been looking for you! Come here, Baby!" Suddenly a woman kneeled not looking at her but Y/n can only take deep breaths as she saw the familiar woman she dreaded to see.

Her eyes were open wide as she look down at Lucas and the woman...

"Mommy! Look it's my sister!" Lucas called out and Y/n gasp when she saw the woman's face when she look at her.
Y/n can only blink and pretend to not know when she notice her face losing its colors. She sneered deep inside, the self mockery was so loud as her conscience mock her as she look at the face of her mother...

"D-don't just call a random stranger your sister, Lucas!" The woman said in rush and tug Lucas, carrying the boy before walking im a rush.

"Wait!" Y/n called at her mother, as her mother froze before facing her.

Y/n leaned down and pick her mother's purse and stretch her arm.

"You left your purse" Y/n said with her voice cold as her e/c stared at her mother with judgement and coldness making the woman shiver as her other arm reach for her purse and pulled it.

"T-thank you" she mumbled and Y/n gave a subtle nod as her mother turn around and Y/n face Lucas as the boy enthusiastically wave at her.

"Bye bye Sister! Let's see each other again!"

He smiled and Y/n couldn't help but hate her parents more as she watch the light in the boy's eyes.

As she remembered her mother's words when talking to Lucas with a tender look.

'don't just call a random stranger your sister'

And that words just hurt her more as they left without an explanation or any sign of their regrets that they left her with Gabriel Agreste.

   ——Y/n look at the City of Love in silence as the car drive back to the Agreste Mansion. Her mind still on the event yesterday, that she can't even enjoy her return to Paris.

To Luka

God knows how much she crave for his hugs, and his reassurance that she's not alone and that he'll always be there for her. She wanted to leave the car, but Gabriel's cold voice telling her of their school made her want to just obey and give in.

"Y/n" Gabriel with his monotonous voice called her name and Y/n turn to her side, with Adrien in the middle and Gabriel on the other side of the car.

"Don't forget to accompany Adrien with his photoshoot tomorrow afternoon. After the party, aside from my creations, there are also international brand that wanted him to model their works"

Before Y/n can nod, Adrien immediately talk.

"Uh..Father i think she doesn't need to come..i mean we just arrive and leaving the house the next day is tiring"
Adrien said hesitatingly when Gabriel raise his brows.

Gabriel gave a thought and nodded agreeing

"Just rest" Y/n clench her hidden fist and silently nodded as she turned her eyes outside.

Adrien is acting weird.

And frustratingly, it made Y/n confuse and rather strange at the absence of the guy who always talk to her.

I'm back? Sorry guys! It took uhmm...weeks. aside from writer's block i also need to answer a lot of paper and do a lot of projects!

So it took a lot of time!

I really don't know if this chapter is good but i can only sigh since it's the result of my short hiatus.
