Steve quickly got up and saw the blood seeping through the fabric.

Steve wasted no time scooping me up off the floor and sat me down on the bench.

"Just go fly!" Steve shouted to Natasha who picked up the speed.

"Here cap" Sam said handing Steve the first aid kit.

Steve grabbed the kit and rested my leg up on the table.

"Can you lay on your stoumach?" Steve asked.

I nodded and rolled over. Steve ripped open the fabric and applied pressure to the wound.

"Shit" I muttered.

"I'm sorry" Steve quickly apologized.

"It's fine" I muttered.

Steve tossed the spare fabric of my pant leg on the floor before grabbing the tweezers from the first aid kit.

"This will hurt" Steve said softly.

I tilted my head to the side, grabbing Steve's jacket using it as a pillow. I could feel the tweezers digging around inside of me.

I let out a groan and Steve kept on apologizing. He got out the bullet and placed it on the table, my blood covering the shell.

Steve cleaned the cut before bandaging it making sure it was tight.

"There all done" Steve said.

"Thanks" I said.

I lifted my foot up resting my leg up on the table.

"Sorry about your pants" Steve apologized.

"It's ok" I said.

Steve sat down next to me his hand resting on my thigh.

"Do you want any pain relief or anything?" Steve asked.

"No I'm alright, suprisingly this isn't my first time being shot. The serum should heal fast enough" I said.

"Still" Steve said.

"Trust me I'm fine, it doesn't hurt that bad" I said glancing down to my now bandaged leg.

Steve nodded but kept his hand on my thigh.

The silence around the quinjet was deafening both Natasha and Sam staring at the two of us. Steve cleared his throat and removed his hand off my thigh.

"I'm Sam" Sam said awkwardly breaking the silence.

"Y/n" I replied giving him a small smile.

"So are you too like together or?" Sam asked.

"I was wondering that too" Natasha chimed in.

Steve's widened and his cheeks immediately glowed red, I could even feel my own cheeks begin to burn.

"Ah no just um friends" Steve said.

"Yup" I agreed popping the p.

"Oh I just thought" Sam said.

Steve shook his head and stood up now standing next to me, his back leaning against the wall.

"You just seem to care alot" Sam said to Steve.

"Just drop it Sam" Steve said.

Sam furrowed his brows at the blonde but nevertheless agreed and kept his mouth shut.

"I had to fight your brother ya know" Sam said changing the subject and coming to sit across from me.

"Did he beat you?" I asked.

Sam stayed silent.

"He totally did didn't he" I chuckled.

"Oh shut up you two have like weird spider powers" Sam huffed.

"You do know he's only fifteen right you get beaten by a literal child" I teased.

Sam's jaw dropped.

"That's rather embarrassing" Natasha chuckled.

"Hey shut up" Sam said pointing at Natasha.

"Seriously Tony recruited a child" Steve said.

"That is a bit fucked up" Natasha agreed.

"He actually wanted both of us so" I shrugged.

"So how did you get your powers?" Sam asked.

He leant back in his chair as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Got bitten by a radioactive spider" I explained.

"That's so cool" Sam said.

"Thanks" I chuckled.

I can already see myself getting along with Sam quite well. The two of us talked for a while mostly about my suit and redwing.

"Where do we go now?" Natasha asked.

Steve shrugged and ran his hands through his hair.

"We're fugitives" Sam said.

"We just have to hide" I sighed.

"Just find somewhere quiet to park the jet and I'll sort it out" Steve said.

I could tell he was stressed. He moved to the back of the jet away from us. Sam turned to the front.

I slowly stood up a pain going through my leg as I put pressure on my leg as I limped towards Steve.

"You shouldn't be walking on that leg" Steve said worriedly.

"I'm fine" I chuckled and sat down besides him.

Steve turned his head to face me. I looked up at Sam and Natasha who were in their own conversation.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing is wrong" Steve said.

"Your a terrible liar" I chuckled.

Steve laughed a little and shook his head.

"I can tell somethings bothering you" I said.

"It's just that I have no idea what to do next. I'm supposed to a leader someone with a plan on what to do but I have nothing. No idea what to do" Steve admitted.

"Steve none of us have any idea either" I reassured him.

"But I'm the leader, the captain and I got you all into this mess" Steve said.

I reached over and held Steve's hand.

"None of this is your fault ok, you don't have to be our leader it's ok to be clueless. You don't have to be Captain America, you can just be Steve" I said.

Steve gave me a warm smile and gave my hand a squeeze.

"We'll figure this out together ok, you don't have to figure everything out on your own ok" I reassured him.

"Thank you Y/n" He said softly.

"You don't need to thank me" I said.

Steve chuckled and let out a breath, not letting my hand go.

"You better not walk on that leg again" Steve said.

"Fine I won't" I laughed.

"Good girl" Steve said.

Those words caused butterflies in my stomach. I tried to ignore them, Steve and I were just friends. I shouldn't be feeling like this.

I shouldn't.
