Chapter twenty-three

third pov~

"now ill have to get serious with you."

when todoroki hear those words come out of Gaara's mouth he felt chills go down his spine, all this time he thought Gaara was serious but it seems like he was never serious and was only playing with him

Gaara outstretched his right arm out, his arm faced upwards, he had his hand clenched closed as he glared hatefully at todoroki, making such conclusions about him? wrong move todoroki

inside of Gaara was a large sand demon and with a large spiky tail and blue lines that went across his body, his sclera was all black and his iris was only made of a golden yellow colour that would make you shiver if you made eye contact with the beast

shukaku smiled widely as he watched the scene go down 'seems like this is my chance huh...hehehe' a look of mischief was in his eyes

clueless to shukaku as he was nearly blinded by rage, with his outstretched arm he opened his hand slowly, todoroki was confused by the action but is confusion was soon answered as sand raised from the ground but something was different about it

the sand was forming a body?! can he really do that? by the look of it, there was a lot of sand clumps that was about to form a body, there's no way Gaara can control all of these sand clones, it would take a lot of concentration, well the dual haired boy can only hope as he knows he isn't good enough to fight all of these clones at once

after the clones all formed fully everyone seen they were the exact replica of the sand user "what's this!? Gaara has made...sand clones!! who knew he could do such a thing!" the loud blonde her yelled

with the class they looked surprised at gaaras new move, midoriya looked entranced by the clones "if Gaara can actually control all of those clones at one it will be amazing! even if he can control one will be astonishing as sand is made of rough material and is heavy when clumped together it will be a feat just to move the body!"

everyone looked at him as he mumbled but they also knew how much work Gaara has to put in order to use such a move, Gaara truly is a strong guy

Gaara pulled his arm to the side and over his left shoulder and as he did that he flipped his hand over so it would be facing the ground, Gaara and todoroki stared each other in the eye for a good 3 seconds before Gaara made his move that the dual haired boy was dreading

Gaara swung his arm that rested an inch above his left shoulder in a half-circular motion, at the movement all of the sand clones rushed towards todoroki, everyone's eyes widened at the fight, he actually moved the sad clones! all of them too

Gaara who paid no attention to the clones sent his sand at todoroki too, said boy had his eyes wide as he watched 15 clones rush at him at a fast speed while gaaras sand also came at him, o say he's panicking was an understatement

it would be worse if these sand clones used sand, like how Gaara does but it seems like they're only doing close combat but it doesn't make it better as they were extremely good at it too, what is Gaara not good at!?

todoroki tried his best to dodge the clones and the sand but he was having quite a bit of trouble 'maybe if I take Gaara out directly it'll stop the sand clones and him' he thought to himself before making his move

with Gaara it seems like another snd clone popped up behind him without him noticing till he was hit, gaara thought somehow todoroki got behind him without him noticing but when he looked where his sand clones are it seems like the dual haired boy who he thought attacked him behind was still in the same spot

it then clicked in his mind that he wasn't the one controlling the clones anymore, he turned around and saw a clone of himself, Gaara grunted in annoyance "shukaku! quit it!" the yelled t the clone he knew shukaku was mainly controlling, just by the action by shukaku Gaara knew his plan

Gaara knew shukaku since he was a kid and has a good visual of his personality, shukaku wanted to fight and hopefully win and knock his host out and then release himself and make a racket and kill some people

a few classmates and todoroki somehow heard Gaara yell out a name but had no clue who he was talking to "did he say shukaku?" ojiro asked questionably "he did" said shouji and heard Gaara quite clearly with his quirk

"whos shukaku?" some questioned along with todoroki, Gaara tried to gain control again ut he was having trouble but eventually turned his attention back to todoroki "you know nothing about pain! your family doesn't hate you so you can't say shit!!" he yelled

the class and todoroki looked at Gaara shocked by his words 'hate him?"

Gaara clapped his hands together and closed his eyes "sand tsunami!" a large wave of sand in the air like a tsunami and started to come down, Gaara was immune to his own attacks so he didn't panic and todoroki sure did

todoroki tried o make the thickest ice dome around himself as he saw the tsunami come at him, with endeavor he watched this all go down with a scowl and a shocked look on his face, he knew the boy was strong but this string? he would have never guessed

Gaara was smart enough to make sure the sand tsunami wouldn't reach the crowed and possibly hurt them, the whole stadium watched in amazement at the pure power and control the red-haired boy has over his quirk as this was beyond their expectations

when the sand reached todoroki everything was silent before Gaara retracted his sand as to not suffocate his classmate that angered him, when everyone saw the unconscious todoroki boy they all cheered at the overwhelming victory

"Gaara goes into the finals!" midnight said as she whipped the whip in her hands, medical teams came and took todoroki to recovery girl, the crowd cheered for Gaara as he watched as they took todoroki

and had no regret on his face, in fact, he seemed quite pleased with himself but they don't know what he's exactly pleased with, hurting todoroki or winning
