in the silent bar, the only sound was the tv showcasing Aizawa, nezu and Vlad king, apologizing for the inconvenience but Gaara paid no attention to them or the tv, the only thought in his mind was todoroki

his face, his expression, his pure emotion. his voice. his outstretched arms

"Gaara!"

"isn't that strange, the heroes are becoming the bad guys" shigaraki's voice broke Gaara out of his thoughts, shigaraki stretched his arms out "seems like they aren't dealing with this very well, so much criticism" his raspy voice kept talking

"but everyone makes a mistake or two, it's not like they're supposed to be perfect, modern-day heroes sure have it rough" Gaara was getting sick of this guy, his voice is so irritating "don't you think...bakugou and Gaara"

Gaara stared at shigaraki's hand covering his face 'i bet he's ugly' shukaku butt in "once a hero receives their payment to protect people, they arent a real hero anymore, that's what stains actions taught us" the villain that looked like an alligator spoke

'man he's ugly' shukaku judged, Gaara bit his lip, trying not to look amused "a hero in this current system only cares for money and glory, and since society buys into those idiotic fools, anyone deemed a loser is shoved aside"

bakugou's sneer worsened, Gaara remained calm and collected "so we want to pose some questions, what is a hero? what is justice? is the society truly fair? soon everybody will be asking and that's when we know we have won"

Gaara almost yawned out of boredom, man this guy talks a lot. even if some of his points are right he's going the wrong way to fix this society, Gaara has thought of fixing society himself once, not in a heroic way but it would work and he knew it

if he put the plan into motion he would get further than these idiots

"you like winning don't you" shigaraki finally finished his speech, Gaara noticed he was mostly talking to bakugou, 'i see...they're going to kill me while trying to recruit bakugou' Gaara came to a conclusion

"Dabi, let him go, and leave Gaara tied up," shigaraki told the so-called villain named dabi who looked like a burnt-up loser, this confirmed gaara's thoughts 'they plan on recruiting bakugou..' "what? you know he'll just fight," Dabi said

"it's fine, we're recruiting him so we should treat him as a equal, besides he's smart enough to know he can't take us all, not without Gaara that is, right?' shigaraki leaned on the counter beside him "after all, ua students are so clever"

Gaara sent a glance to bakugou who slyly gave a look back, Gaara ever so slightly nodded but it looked as if he was just hanging his head a bit

"twice, you do it" Dabi motioned to twice who was in a costume that resembled Deadpool 'he looks like deadpool' Gaara thought "sure thing! no way" the villain said 'does he have split personality?'

"just do it" Dabi ordered "aw man" twice walked over to bakugou "I apologize for using such forkful methods, but you must understand we aren't some unruly mod" the villain who was the one to capture Gaara spoke

"We didn't kidnap you two by accident" "even though every one of us come from different backgrounds, each one of us has suffered because of people, rules and heroes who try to hold us back, we're sure you're the same," shigaraki said while slowly walking towards bakugou and Gaara
