Chapter twenty-nine

third pov

everyone stood at the train station, ready to leave for their internships. Gaara stood to the side ad away from everyone but still close enough for him to hear what Aizawa was saying "everyone has their costumes right? remember, you dont have permission to wear them out in public yet" 

Gaara looked around the station, he doesn't think he had ever been on a train before as he was barely allowed outside cause of his father, from the side someone was glancing at Gaara every few moments, Gaara noticed but didn't care

"and dont lose them or anything" Aizawa finished, "gotcha!" mina said, lifting her case with her costume in it, in the air. Aizawa scolded her but Gaara wasn't listening as he watched trains go by, someone walked up from behind him and stood beside him

looking to his side, Gaara saw todoroki who didn't look back at him and just listened to Aizawa speak and acted like he didn't just stand next to Gaara as if he wasn't there 'why is he trying so hard to get close to me? it's weird' he thought to himself

"maybe he wants to be your friend" shukaku said, his words do make sense but he doesn't want to be friends with him, so it's kinda annoying that todoroki always seems to be around him and then trie to talk to him with awkward conversations

"who are you interning with?" todoroki's voice was heard, looking back to him Gaara stared into his grey and turquoise eyes. when Gaara didn't say anything to answer, todoroki did instead "I'm going with my old man..." 

his tone changed from a few moments ago "I am only going because he can help me control my fire" "I hated my left side, so I never used it and now that I am trying to, I dont know how to control it well... I dont want to hurt anyone, thas not what a hero does" while saying that he put his hand up to the scar on his eye 

'...is he going to talk more again.' 

before todoroki can talk more they were dismissed to leave, Gaara went to his train quickly as the dual haired boy tried to talk to him again, perhaps to say goodbye

getting on his train, he sat in a seat and looked out the window of the train, he sighed in annoyance "...yea he talks a lot for a supposed quiet boy" shukaku said 'well obviously'

getting of the train at his stop he waited for the pro hero that will intern with him, and he didn't have to wait long as he heard yelling and running from behind him, looking at the scene he watched as a woman with long blonde hair, a light blue hero costume and some odd different things on his head a body, but he won't judge 

'...I hope that isn't her. she seems annoying and loud'

"so you're my intern huh! oh my, I would have never thought you'd accept my invite!" the woman said smiling at Gaara, he sighed internally as he realized it really was there, he accepted her invite cause her quirk is an earth type and would be useful to him, plus Aizawa recommended it

"I'm ysuchikawa ryuko, but you will call me by my hero name! pixie-bob" she went to wrap her arm around Gaara but his sand blocked her from doing so, she just laughed it off and continued to talk "come on, ill introduce you to my team!"

she started to lead him to somewhere he's not sure, somewhere in the mountains though, pixie box keeps talking the whole way, he only responded a few times but she didn't seem to mind how quiet he is, which he thought was nice sorta.

"here we are! come on my little intern" she got out of the car and so did Gaara and followed her to a building which had three people and a kid, pixie bob introduced him and said some other things he didn't listen to 

but he did find out their names, Mandalay, ragdoll and tiger, the kids' name he didn't listen to cause he didn't care at all, it's not like he will talk to the kid so no need to learn his name, plus he will only be here a week

"must have been a long day so you can rest for today, we'll train tomorrow," pixie box said while smiling, Gaara nodded and walked to the room he was told he was going to stay in for the week, setting his bags down and getting on his bed, time to do nothing at all

Gaara sat on his bed while he read a book about cactuses, his door was cracked open a bit which made Gaara snap his eyes to the door to see who opened it, it was the kid with the bad attitude and ugly looking hat

"Why are you awake?" the little boy asked as he opened the door more and walked into his room, which he found annoying, who walks into someone's room uninvited "why aren't you. dont you have a bedtime" Gaara stared at the boy unwaveringly, Kota started to shift under his gaze but kept the tuff guy act

 "tch, I dont have a bedtime!" the boy crossed his arms as he glared at Gaara in distaste but he didn't really care, Gaara kept his calm gaze while still looking at Kota "whatever" Kota turned back to gaara's door and went to close the door

but before he did, he stopped and looked back at Gaara who looked at him uninterested "I dont know why you want to be a hero anyway, it's stupid," he said with venom in his voice, Gaara wasn't fazed by his words but he did find his attitude annoying

"I didn't ask. what makes you think I'd care about your words? you're just a kid with no use to anyone" Gaara sent sand towards Kota whose eyes widened in slight fear, was he gonna hurt him? he wouldn't..would he?

heroes dont kill, he wants to be a hero right..?

the sand pushed the door closed and shut Kota out, his action shocked Kota but he quickly went to his room not wanting to stay there any longer, clearly frightened from his last encounter with Gaara

"Why are kids so annoying"

wow, an update, honestly I'm uninterested in writing gaara's internship, there's no character development excluding his strength, but if you want me to I will I guess

ill have a writing block if I do tho cause I won't know what to do.
