Chapter forty-five

third pov 

Gaara stood in front of the dorms as Aizawa went on a speech again "given everything that has happened, I'm glad we were able to bring class one a back together" a few people started to talk but Gaara only looked forward

"now I will explain how your dorm assignments work shortly but first, however, we haven't forgotten about the hero licence you were supposed to get at training camp"

"Now this is important so pay attention" Gaara started to actually listen again "Kirishima, momo, todoroki, midoriya and iida. you five are the ones to break the rules and rescue bakugou and Gaara that night"

it was silent for a few moments "given by your reactions, I am guessing you others were aware of their plans, I am going to-" Gaara stopped listening and followed Aizawa to the dorms and went on inside to his room

he heard the others laughing amongst each other and sighed

Gaara sat on his bed alone, before a knock was heard on his door, Gaara sighed walked over to the door, he opened the door and saw the whole class in front of his room, Gaara immediately closed the door

they started to bang on the door, there were a few whispers before there was a gentle knock on the door "Gaara" was heard.

the class was silent as they watched the door, the door was quickly opened "todoroki." "We are looking at everyone's rooms and we wanted to check your room out." he casually said but Gaara stared at them "ok" Gaara moved and let them in

everyone went into gaara's room "Woah there are so many plants!" uraraka said, Gaara frowned "not really..its only for cacti.." they started to walk around, Mineta started to look under his bed and things

Gaara smacked him away with his sand "don't go through my things," he said with a harsh tone, mina who was about to touch his side table frozen and inched away "whos this gaara?" sero asked 

Gaara looked at him and saw him at his nightstand where it only had a picture of his mother "my mother." the girls put their hands together 'how sweet! he has a picture of his mom at the side of his bed 

"how is she like?" midoriya asked and the others listened carefully, gaara's gaze hardened which caused them to be shocked "don't ask me that. get out" Gaara glared at them 

'he seems to be easily agitated lately..' todoroki thought to himself, he walked up to Gaara and put a hand on his shoulder "they were just curious Gaara...they didn't know" he spoke gently, Gaara looked to the ground, conflicted 

Gaara clenched his fist, he thought back to Temari and kankuro. Gaara sneered and punched the wall beside him, the wall now had a hole in it with gaara's fist in it. todoroki looked at him in shock, usually, Gaara would listen to him but just now...

Gaara sighed and calmed down, now having an unemotional face "okay." he walked back to his bed and sat down calmly. the class didn't know what to do so they decided to give Gaara some space for now

todoroki decided to stay and sat next to Gaara, he may not be good at this whole friend thing but he knows something is up with Gaara "did...something happen?" he awkwardly asked, Gaara was silent for a moment 

"Temari and kankuro came back after a long time again..they acted as if they didn't avoid me for years and acted as if they cared" Gaara had an obvious frown on his face, todoroki nodded and sat there for gaara's comfort 

and that's what Gaara needed, he didn't want pity or shitty advice, so him just being there was okay with him.

short chapter but I got to make up for the time I didn't update, I also didn't wanna include Gaara in that useless conversation to make it longer and more boring.
