ROOM #2: Kim Seokjin (4)

"What do you mean, you're already dating someone?!" Seokjin's mom asked in a rushed tone, not even believing what her son told her.

"Just that... I'm already dating someone so that means no more blind dates." Seokjin exclaimed trying to end the argument.

Mrs. Kim stared at her son with disbelief. She shook her head and took a deep breath. "Alright, if whatever you're saying is true... I want you to bring her to me tomorrow!"

Just like that, Seokjin went back home with a triumphant smile on his face. He finally won over his mom. He's finally free!

He feel so happy right now that he didn't notice Taehyung's doubtful face as he entered his room. The younger looking creeped out by Seokjin's suspicious behavior.

"Where did you hide the body?" Taehyung asked, full of speculation.

Seokjin squeaked as he jolted, not really aware that Taehyung was following him till inside their bathroom. "The hell, Taehyung! And what body?"

"You looked as if you successfully killed someone and hid the body somewhere no one will know..." Taehyung deadpanned. "So... Spill the tea while it's hot, hyung or I'll call the cops!"

Seokjin rolled his eyes before forcing his way out of the bathroom after a nice piss. "Shut up, Taehyung. I didn't kill anyone I just so happen met someone who will provide as a solution to my weekly nightmares."

Now, Taehyung's interest is piqued. "Who's the unfortunate victim that you force to pretend to be your girlfriend?"

Seokjin shot him an amazed look. "How'd you know I asked someone to pretend to be my girlfriend?!"

Taehyung shrugged. "I mean that's the initial plan if you don't want to go on dates... Any normal person would think of paying someone to act as a fake girlfriend just to make their parents stop."

Seokjin rolled his eyes but proceeded on walking towards him and Yoongi's shared room. "Whatever. I'm not paying her anything, tho!"

"What?! You cheap mother fuc—"

"She's mute and she has hearing problems." Seokjin cut him off. "That is why I need to talk to Yoongi to get an appointment with his personal dear doctor so that girl and I could help each other."

As to why Seokjin chose her instead of just hiring any other girl out there lies a very important detail. Song Nabi is mute that means she didn't have much people to talk to, she didn't have all the time in the world to spread notes about him and Seokjin dating, she won't be the type of girl who would randomly talk or started speaking to anyone and spread the news — the girl would even pretend to be listening to music just to avoid coversing with people. It's rude of Seokjin to take advantage of her disability, but it's the only thing he could think of. He can't hire any other girl out there for that reason. He don't want BTS image get exploited. Thus makes Nabi perfect for the role.

Also, Seokjin is a very intelligent guy... The moment he started interacting with Nabi he knows that she could be trusted but is very gullible as well. The lady is very meek and out of this world. She don't even know who BTS is and that also makes things perfect. She's someone who doesn't like BTS, once everything is done, it won't be hard for her to leave BTS and him alone.

A few weeks later, Nabi is always with Seokjin.

She would often follow him around. Seokjin told her that it's just to make his parents believe that they are officially dating because one of his personal bodyguard is actually reporting to his mother.

Nabi didn't mind that. She agreed to this with a clear intention. It's not that she's not rich enough to get her own ear doctor, but she prefers this more. Wherein she met someone that talks to her like a normal person for the first time that's why she agreed to be Seokjin's fake girlfriend. Also, she finds Seokjin really interesting and funny. Seokjin is a mixture of sass, hidden kindness, and hilariousness. It makes her feel alive how a man can be so unpredictable. She have never met someone who enjoys silence despite being too loud himself.

Today's not different, as Seokjin is giving her a ride towards HYBE building, he finally asked his dad joke for the day, "What do sprinters eat before they race?"

Nabi as usual, gave him a shrug and a curious expression.

"Nothing, they fast!" And again, his answered by his infamous windshield laugh and Nabi giggling not because the joke is funny, but because of Seokjin's laugh.

"Anyway, we're here." Seokjin pulled up in a covered parking lot. "I'll have to introduce you to the boys to make things seem real aaand I'll have to take you to Yoongi's personal ear doctor."

Just like that the day went by, the members finally met her. Of course like Seokjin at first they find it hard to communicate with her. She couldn't hear Yoongi and Jungkook's voice, writing down on her small notepad that the two's voice are too soft. The members commented how they seem perfect for each other. The noisy one and the quiet one. Nabi would find it so amazing how the boys dance and sing at the same time... She couldn't hear the music properly but she could make out the melody. She would also try to read the lyrics whenever she can't understand what they are saying. She thought the songs they make are very comforting. If only she isn't deaf she would've been a fan as well.

“C'mon, Nabi. I'll take you to Dr. Kang” Seokjin slid a small note on top of the page of the book Nabi is currently reading to catch her attention.

She read the note and instantly look up and smile at Seokjin.

She's pretty when she smiles. Seokjin thought as he can finally see her face without a facemask. He hope that he won't be the one to fall in love instead whenever he looks at her every reaction. Nabi is everything that a guy would look for in a girl, minus the fact that she can't speak or that she's deaf... But those imperfections as well, Seokjin finds it great about her.

He hates himself for thinking like that. It shows how selfish he is, hoping that she never heal so he could keep her to himself.
