Nagwon giggled, but shook her head. "No, Tae... That's enough. Let's just give up, okay?"
Taehyung looked down, sulking. "Nothing happened... Why is it like this? I kept failing you and I'm disappointed that I couldn't keep my promise."
"I had fun, though." Nagwon smiled. "I liked the tiny adventures. I just hope it didn't have to end with you always sulking whenever things didn't go your way. I'm sorry that I am incompete—"
"You don't need to feel incompetent, because I will always stay with you no matter what." Taehyung was fast to answer her. He looked at her eyes, shaking his head no. "It would've been better if you can walk, but I like for who you are... You're not less than anyone for just lacking one thing."
He approached her, his hands firmly clutching her shoulders and his eyes only staring at hers. "I'm sorry that I tried making you do stuff — I didn't realize how this have made you feel more insecure about yourself."
"But you didn't have to be insecure... Why don't we count the things that you're great at instead of the things that you're not capable of? There's plenty of things to admire you for, you just don't realize because we both focused on one fault." Taehyung added. His eyes convincing and his lips trembling. It's my fault... She didn't have to know again and again that making her walk is hopeless, if only I wasn't stubborn and persistent.
"I knew from that start it was hopeless, Tae." She softly confessed, making him stare at her curiously. "I didn't want you to leave. For the first time I had someone that I can call my friend, I didn't want you to leave because I wouldn't be able to accompany you to wherever you want to go. I can't walk."
Her tears finally exploded. Nagwon's arms automatically finds their way on his waist. She didn't want to admit to herself but she hated the way that Taehyung would feel sad whenever they were both give bad news about her condition. And every time, she feels like he will leave once he run out of options and ideas.
But Taehyung hugged her back firmly. He didn't mean to bombard her with those petty solutions. He wanted to help, to show her the world, to make her know how much fun she will have, but he forgot about how beautiful she was already in his eyes, with or without the ability to walk. Nagwon already won his heart. He was already his paradise.
"You don't need to walk, I can be your crutches, I'll take you anywhere you like." Taehyung told her. His eyes filled with determination.
