Echo And Hunter's Long Recovery

It was early in the morning, Echo woke up and still felt the pain in his leg.

How are you feeling Echo?, Rex said as he sat next to him.

I still feel the soreness in my leg, Echo said as he winced in pain.

Here's an ice pack, Rex said happily.

Thanks, Echo said as he winced in pain.

After a while, Crosshair noticed that Hunter was not feeling good and put a bucket by his bed.

*Coughs,* Hunter said as he threw up into the bucket.

Wrecker noticed that Omega was upset.

Omega, what's wrong?, Wrecker said with concern.

I'm worried about Hunter, Omega said as she cried.

Shh, it's going to be ok Omega, Wrecker said with a soothing voice.

Ugh..., Hunter said as he finished throwing up into the bucket and coughed.

Shh, I'm here brother, Crosshair said as he put a hand on his shoulder.

Thank you for being here for me brother, Hunter said weakly.

You're welcome Hunter, Crosshair said happily.

After a while,  Omega walked over to where Hunter was.

Hunter?, Omega said as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

Shh, I'm here ad'ika, Hunter said as he brought Omega into a hug.

Are you ok Sarge?, Wrecker said as he sat down on his bunk.

Yeah, I'll be ok Wrecker, Hunter said happily.

That's a relief, so what's the death toll from this tornado?, Wrecker said as he asked Tech.

*Sighs,* 24, Tech said with concern.

Oh...., Wrecker said as he sat down.

Don't feel bad Wrecker, there's nothing we could've done, it happened so fast, Hunter said as he comforted him.

I know, Wrecker said as he laid down on his bed.

Tech, set a course for Ord Mantell, Hunter commanded.

I'm on it, Tech said as he typed the coordinates into the nav computer and the Marauder went into hyperspace.

After a long recovery, Hunter and Echo are feeling better and the rest of the Bad batch are glad that they're ok.
