Chase was eating his food, outside at the eating area in front of Porters Café, next to Sylvia who was also eating her food, the silence was awkward between them.

"So, what're you doing here in Adventure Bay?" Chase asked, trying to start up a conversation.

"Well, my owner and my parents came here to get fruit from Farmer Yumi, and It's gonna take a while so I decided to hang out around here." Sylvia explained.

"Huh" Chase said and thought for a moment, which gave Sylvia a chance to talk again.

"What about you? Why are you here?" Sylvia asked with a smile and Chase deadpanned at her.

"I live here."

"Hahaha! I know that, but why are you here, eating alone? Where are your other friends, the Paw Patrol, right?" Sylvia laughed.

"Meh, they're busy, and I've got some free time to spend so why not hang out here in the town?" Chase shrugged as he lied.

"Cool. So what happened to you? What about that blue attire?" Sylvia asked.

"Eh, I'm trying something else out." Chase shrugged again and Sylvia smiled.

"Well, I like the new look. I'd say it's pretty attractive." Sylvia said casually and Chase lightly blushed at the sound of him being attractive.

"Thanks I guess." Chase said and went back to eating. Sylvia glanced at him while he was eating from his bowl of food. Huh, he also acted a bit more different than usual. He used to be energetic, but now he seems like he's chill about everything Sylvia thought but shrugged it off and focused back on her food.

As they ate, Sylvia kept sneaking glances towards Chase. And he has changed a lot. Cuter and more handsome...Sylvia then quietly gasped as she realized what she was thinking and quickly shook her head, trying to get rid of those thoughts.

"So...what's going on at the Paw Patrol?" Sylvia asked, trying to start a conversation.

"Well...nothing much really. Same old missions and stuff like that." Chase answered.

"Oh? And some pretty awesome missions at Adventure City, right?" Sylvia smirked and Chase looked at her.

"You know?"

"Duh, it was all over the news. How could I not?" Sylvia laughed along with Chase.

"You saw that, huh?"

"Yeah, definitely, I also saw that you've got a new member?" Sylvia mentioned.

"Oh yeah, Liberty. She's the newest member of the Paw Patrol." Chase answered her.

"Ah, sounds cool. So what're you planning on after we finish eating?" Sylvia asked and Chase finished his food and looked at Sylvia, seemed a little bit confused and thought about it for a second.

"Uh, I'm not sure. Maybe just walk around a little bit more and that's it." Chase shrugged and Sylvia nodded at that and finished her food. Chase watched as Sylvia placed her bowl next to the door for Mr. Porter to collect, along with Chase's.

"You wanna come?"

Sylvia turned around to Chase, with a bit of a surprised look.

"W-What?" She stuttered.

"You wanna come walk with me? You said you're planning on hanging out here for a little bit." Chase suggested and Sylvia still looked at Chase with a shocked look, which earned a smile from Chase and he walked past her.

"Come on, or else you'll get left behind." Chase said with a playful tone and turned his head away, not noticing that Sylvia was blushing behind him. Sylvia was surprised, but didn't deny the offer either and caught up with Chase, walking with him.

"So what were you planning on doing after you finished eating?" Chase asked and Sylvia began thinking.

"I don't really know, probably just see what there's to do around here." Sylvia answered him and Chase got an idea.

"There's a pup park nearby, wanna go there?" Chase asked.

"Sure, let's go." Sylvia agreed and both of them made their way towards the park.

8:50 PM

After playing at the pup park for quite some time, Sylvia and Chase decided to go for a walk around Adventure Bay and they were talking and laughing until Ryder called in.

"Hey, Chase?" Ryder called through.

"Yeah, I'm here Ryder Sir" Chase answered

"It's getting a little bit late and you should probably head back now." Ryder said and Chase and Sylvia looked at each other with somewhat of a disappointed look.

"Uh, sure Ryder Sir, I'm on my way." Chase said and ended the call.

"Aw man. You gotta leave now?" Sylvia asked in a playful sad tone.

"Hehe, sorry but it is getting late. So I've gotta head back." Chase nervously laughed and Sylvia sighed.

"Meh, it's fine. Don't worry about it, but I did have a lot of fun though." Sylvia shrugged with a smile and Chase smiled back.

"Same goes for me. Maybe we can hang again like this some other time." Chase said.

"We'll see. It depends If I'll be staying here for a little longer, but I doubt it." Sylvia said and Chase nodded in understanding and lifted up his paw.

"So...friends?" Chase asked and Sylvia looked up at Chase with quite a surprised look, but warmly smiled at him and fist...or paw-bumped Chase's with hers.

"Friends."

And both of them grinned at each other and separated their paws.

"Later!" Chase waved goodbye as he ran towards the Lookout and Sylvia watched him run off into the sunset.

"He's pretty cool." Sylvia sighed with a blush and gasped as to what she just said and shook her head once again.

"Ugh! C'mon, what's going on with me. Maybe I need a bath or something." Sylvia groaned and began making her way back to her owner and her parents.

Chase was running off and stopped for a quick second and looked back to see Sylvia running from Adventure Bay, down the path. Chase smiled as he looked at his paw that fist-bumped Sylvia's. Mayor Humdinger, Helga and Sylvia, huh? Chase thought. He was making friends with others that he didn't expect to be friends with. Well Humdinger is still in the middle Chase remembered himself. So far, they're both on good terms, and kind of friends for now, but they still need to make amends with some other things that happened in the past.

Chase sighed with a smile and began making his way back to the Lookout.
