Back At Adventure Bay

     The moving engines of the Paw Patroller kept them asleep, but they had to wake up at some point in the morning. One by one, they slowly opened their eyes and yawned to the morning time. Since they could feel the engines moving, that means that they were still driving.

"Morning." Rubble yawned out.

"Morning." They all sighed back, still a little tired from the trip they were having. Skye rubbed her eyes a little bit and glanced at Chase who also yawned and began stretching. She frowned and looked away, not trying to acknowledge him right now after what happened to the two of them last night.

Chase on the other hand, didn't care. Why should he pay more attention? He already gave her a hint to the problem, he didn't need to give any more.

"Guys! Check it out, it's snowing!" Liberty pointed out and everybody was quickly glued to the window and they watched a bunch of snow, slowly dropping down to the ground. Everyone smiled.

"Man, this is gonna be so perfect for the holidays!" Marshall said in an excited tone.

"Si! I can't wait to go outside and play in the snow!" Tracker said while wagging his tail uncontrollably.

Ryder smiled at the happy pups and watched as Carlos walked up to him.

"So, what are we planning for the holidays?" Carlos asked as he placed a hand on Ryder's seat.

"I'm not so sure yet," Ryder began as he stared back onto the road, "I was planning on hosting Secret Santa this year with the pups, including their parents when we get back." Ryder described and Carlos formed a smirk on his face.

"Are you thinking about inviting Katie?" He asked and Ryder lightly blushed at the mention of her name.

"W-What? What're you talking about?" Ryder asked as he glanced at the smirking Carlos who only shrugged.

"Meh, nothing much. Just asking." He said and Ryder slightly glared at him but then turned his attention back onto the road.

Meanwhile, the pups overheard Ryder and they all smiled at the idea of playing Secret Santa.

"Secret Santa? That's gonna be a lot of fun!" Everest said with an excited tone.

"Totally! I wonder who I'll get!" Rubble wondered. Chase on the other hand wasn't really fond of the idea. There was a low chance he would get Kushina or Ryder, or even Edan for that matter. But one person he especially didn't want to get was Skye, ever since the little argument they had yesterday, but overall what happened. Chase didn't want to associate with her right now.

"Pups!" Ryder called up and everyone quickly stopped talking and gave Ryder their attention.

"We're back!" He grinned and the pups were quickly confused but also quickly realized that he meant that they were back. The pups ran up to Ryder and looked out of the window and grins and laughter came across their faces.

They were finally back at Adventure Bay.

With Arya

Arya placed her paw out as a couple drops of snow melted onto her paw. The coldness, she could feel, the feelings inside, she could not. She was outside, a little away from the mansion. She was never bothered by the cold. In fact, she found it more relaxing to settle in. But even the snow couldn't take her mind off of the pup that the Blood King talked about.

Flash Back

"He put...my own father in prison. He was everything I had left to live for." He began and now, Arya looked at him in some confusion. Arya could feel some anger rising inside of him, but again, wasn't fazed.

"Me and my family were in poverty. We had to steal, we had to fight for survival, and then, he came out of nowhere and...he ruined my own family. Now I lost both of my parents. That's why I won't ever forgive him. And I'll make sure he suffers for it." The Blood King growled.

Flash Back Ends

Chase, huh? She repeated the name inside her head one more time. She remembered years back where she met a little pup named Chase. She looked up at the sky filled with grey clouds. I wonder what happened to him Arya then thought. But, she only met him for one day, she had other friends with her but once they saw the little pup, they didn't see him again after that.

But there was no use in thinking about it now. Her purpose was to find true love, and she's willing to work with The Blood King in order to achieve her goal.

Flash Back

"We have enemies on our radar. Krull Morgan Lincoln. I know what move he's gonna make next. And it'll involve taking out a certain pup at Adventure Bay. Eventually, one of them will be wiped out by the other. And all we have to do is take down the final enemy, and then you'll have your resolve." The Blood King promised with a convincing voice.

Flash Back Ends

Arya frowned a little bit at that memory.

"So who's the other enemy? And what's their next move?" Arya whispered to herself.

Adventure City

Inside the Adventure Petronas Tower, the elevator door opened and then came in Brutus and Wilson, who've been called by the Overlord.

"You wanted to see us?" Wilson asked and Lincoln looked up at him with his usual frown as he reached under his desk and pulled out a pup-pack and a suitcase.

"Both of these are filled with enormous amounts of money. I want you to spend it on bailing these ones out." Lincoln stated, which kind of surprised Wilson and Brutus, but then both of them were given the list, which shocked them even more.

"A-Are you sure, sir? I mean, this seems a bit too much." Brutus sweated a little bit.

"No, it's not. We have a new threat now. These guys have lost before, and this will be their final chance." He stated. Both Brutus and Wilson looked at each other, surprised by the Overlords decision. They then looked back and nodded their heads up and down, agreeing with his request.

"This... will be the birth of The Ominous Ten."
