Duel In The Air

     Chase smiled at the sight of the Paw Patroller, which meant that his pup-pack was inside the truck. The German Shepherd quickly dashed towards it as Ryder and the pups were walking out, along with their parents, and this time without their city vehicles. Ryder quickly noticed Chase running up to him.

"Chase! What's going on? We got a call about a giant bird?" Ryder explained, questioning what was going on at the fair.

"It's Duke! And he has giant robotic wings!" Chase pointed and everyone looked and they were shocked to see Duke flying up in the air.

"Woah! Where did he get those?" Rocky asked.

"I might have a clue, but right now, we have to stop him before he finds Skye." Chase said and everyone looked at him in confusion.

"What does he want with my daughter?" Axel asked while Daisy had a worried look on her face.

"He wants revenge because of what happened back at Barkingburg," Chase explained and looked towards Ryder, "Ryder, do you have my pup-pack?" He then asked and Ryder nodded as both him and the boy ran inside and Chase quickly got dressed in his police outfit along with his pup-pack.

They ran out to see Duke flying around the carnival, looking for Skye.

"We have to stop him! Rocky and Rubble, I need you guys to quickly clean up the debris while the rest of you evacuate the people while Chase and I will look around for Skye." Ryder said and everyone nodded and went their separate ways.

"Oh! Ryder?" Chase realized something.

"Yeah?" Ryder asked, listening while they were running around.

"Look, Skye isn't alone right now. She's with Sylvia and her parents." Chase quickly mentioned and Ryder looked at him with a slight shocked look on his face, feeling like he recognized the name before.

"Sylvia...Sylvia...wait, do you mean the Sylvia that competed against you in that herd competition?" Ryder asked and Chase nodded.

"Huh, interesting." Ryder said, surprised that she came back to Adventure Bay.

"Skye is on a water ride, and I'm not sure if they're still on it, but we have to keep her and Sylvia and her parents out of danger." Chase informed and Ryder nodded.

Luckily, when Chase and Ryder made a turn, they saw Skye, Fiona, Max and Sylvia running towards them.

"Skye!" Both Ryder and Chase yelled and Skye happily smiled at the sight of them.

"Ryder!" She called out and both of them ran towards each other, Ryder quickly kneeling down and petting Skye as Skye nuzzled into Ryder, happy to see her own here.

"What's going on?" Max asked, wondering why everyone was running away.

"Duke is here, and he's after Skye." Chase quickly said and Skye looked at the German Shepherd with a worried and surprised look on her face.

"Wait, Duke Of Flappington? Why is he after me?" Skye asked in a concerned tone.

"He wants to get back at you for what happened back at Barkingburg." Ryder said.

"Well whatever it is, we have to get out of here." Fiona said and quickly, they heard robotic wings flying near them. They looked up and were frustrated when they saw Duke floating in the air, evilly grinning at the pups, but kept his look at Skye.

"Ha! I finally found you!" Duke stated as he pointed his finger at Skye who looked a little worried. Chase quickly jumped in front of her and the others, growling at Duke.

"You won't get near her!" The police pup declared and just then, they saw the other pups running towards them.

"Ryder! Everyone's evacuated and-!" Rubble couldn't finish his sentence but gasped, along with the other pups as they saw Duke flying in the air.

"Is that him?" Edan asked, while looking at the teenage boy with wide eyes. The other parents looked at Duke with surprised looks on their faces.

"Woah, where did he get those wings?" Zuma wondered, but Axel and Daisy were more angry as they jumped in front of their daughter.

"Get out of my way! She's mine!" Duke declared, keeping his finger pointed at Skye.

"I won't let your filthy hands touch our daughter!" Daisy responded, growling along with Axel and the other pups. Duke looked at the two in confusion, but when he saw the resemblance between the three dogs, it was then he realized.

"Oh, so you're her parents." Duke started with an evil smirk and quickly flew towards them which horrified Ryder and the pups and they quickly ducked down, but then Chase noticed he flew past them and everyone looked back and watched in horror as Duke grabbed Axel by his collar and flew off.

"DAD/AXEL!" Both Skye and Daisy screamed as they watched in horror as Duke lifted Axel up.

"You want him? Then give her to me!" Duke offered as he pointed at Skye once again.

"That's not happening! Let him down!" Ryder said and Duke growled.

"Fine...have it your way." Duke said and flew higher and began flying away from the carnival.

"Then say goodbye to him!" Duke yelled and quickly flew off.

"Dad!" Skye called out and Chase quickly glanced at her.

"Don't worry!" Chase said and Skye looked at him and saw Chase warmly smile at her.

"I'll get him back, that's a promise." Chase said, even though he wasn't fond of her at the moment, she won't let Axel be taken away from the Cockapoo.

"Ryder! Call the cops, tell them that I'll be in pursuit!" Chase turned to Ryder and quickly ran towards the direction where Duke had taken Axel with both of them still in sight, ignoring the calls from Ryder.

"Ruff! Zipline!" Chase yelled out and shot his zipline towards the engine on Duke's back and the power of it quickly pulled Chase from the ground into the air before the teenage boy was able to fly above the buildings.

Axel quickly tried to get away from Duke's grasp, but when he noticed that he was now above buildings of the city, he began to worry, but then, he looked back to see Chase dangling from his zipline, following Duke and him. What's he doing!? Axel was shocked to see the position the small German Shepherd was at.

Chase sweated a little bit as he never fought someone whilst in mid-air, so this was gonna be a brand new challenge to him. Chase looked around and saw views of the city and nothing in the air that could help him, but he still had his pup-pack.

"You know, it's way too late to be dressing up for Halloween! It's November!" Chase joked, making Duke growl as he knew that the teenage boy was easy to upset.

"It's supposed to resemble my eagle! How dare you offend me!" He yelled as he flew back, even with the zipline attached, both Chase and Duke were heading towards each other.

But Chase had a smirk all this time, as he already had a plan in mind.
