Skye quickly cleaned herself up and walked out of her pup-house. She was still trying to comprehend the dream she had. Her cheeks were still a little bit warm and she was shivering a little bit and her heart was beating quickly. Okay, okay. C'mon Skye, get it together Skye told herself and took a couple breaths until she finally calmed down.

She wondered why she had that kind of dream, and especially about Chase. She didn't have any feelings towards him...right?

Flash Back

"Yes! Skye's okay! She's okay!" Chase cheered and Skye looked at Chase with a bit of a surprised look.

"Awww, you were worried." She teased.

"N-No I wasn't...I...was just glad you saved Chickaletta!" Chase nervously stuttered and Skye giggled.

"Thanks Chase, that's very sweet."

Flash Back Ends

But that was just one time, it didn't mean anything though. Chase was just worried and that's it. Skye told herself that many times and she didn't want to think about it anymore.

She then made her way to the Lookout and was surprised at how quiet it was. There was nobody here except Chase, who was organizing the bean bags by the large television. Skye lightly blushed at the sight of him as her heart beat increased and felt a sudden warmth over her body, but she picked herself back up and walked up to him.

"Morning Chase, where are the others?" Skye asked and Chase looked back at her. And without greeting her back, Chase answered her question.

"They went to Mr. Porters to get some food for the party tonight." Chase said and went back to organizing the bean bags, and once he finished, Chase turned towards Skye.

"Anyways, what about you? You seemed off this morning. You're not catching a fever, are you?" Chase asked with an eyebrow raised and Skye lightly blushed again.

"N-No, I just...I guess I just had a weird dream last night." Skye nervously laughed.

"Huh." Was all Chase responded with and silence filled between them and Skye remembered something from yesterday and she was about to open up about it, but then she would tell Chase that she and the other pups have eavesdropped on his and Ryder's conversation from last night. Since Chase wasn't a big fan of the silence either, he decided to try and start a conversation.

"So, can I ask you something?" Skye asked before Chase could say a word.

"Sure." He shrugged.

"Um, h-have you been...sleeping well?" Skye asked and Chase looked at her in confusion.

"Uh, yeah? Why do you ask?" Chase asked this time.

"Well...well you haven't...been waking us up lately." Skye said, and for some reason, it was a bit difficult to ask him that.

"And?" Chase said with a confused face and Skye only looked at Chase with a little surprised look.

"And what?" Skye repeated.

"I mean, is that really a problem? I thought you guys like sleeping in?" Chase asked, referring to her and the pups.

"Well we do, but, it's...it's kind of unusual. I guess we just kind of got worried. I just...wanna ask if everything's okay." Skye said and Chase chuckled.

"Hehe, c'mon, we both know that's not true." Chase said, referring to when she said they were worried about him and this time, Skye was caught off guard and looked at Chase with a confused frown.

"What is that supposed to mean?" She asked and Chase only smiled at her.

"Nothing, don't worry about it." Chase reassured her, but now Skye was only confused even more.

"Now, is there anything else we need to do until Ryder and the pups get back?" Chase asked her and Skye thought about his question and moved her head around the Lookout.

"I don't think so. Everything seems perfect." Skye said.

"Alright." Chase responded and walked past her. Skye looked at the ground, for some reason, more than anything, she didn't want Chase to leave yet.

"You wanna play pup-pup boogie?" Skye asked with a hopeful smile as she turned to Chase.

"Nah, I'll be in my pup-house." Chase denied and kept on walking. Skye sadly sighed but then, a determined look appeared on her face. No, I'm not gonna give up that easy Skye told herself and smirked at Chase.

"What? Afraid you'll lose?" Skye playfully taunted.

"Yea"

That was a response she did NOT expect from him. Normally, Chase would playfully retaliate and declare that he would win. He would play the game and give it his best, and he never admitted defeat. I didn't think he would respond like that. He would normally play with everything he's got. It's honestly pretty cute. Skye sighed in her mind and slightly gasped as to what she thought and shook her head.

If anything, Chase just wanted to be left alone, but Skye wouldn't allow it. She quickly dashed in front of Chase, stopping him before he got to the door.

"Uh, Skye? You're not a traffic cone, ya' know?" Chase said.

"Haha, real funny. C'mon, you've been gloomy these past couple days. Lighten your mood and come play a game with me." Skye said and Chase frowned at her.

"No offense Skye, but you're one annoying traffic cone." Chase deadpanned.

"C'mon, Chase. Please?" Skye asked.

"No." Chase casually stated and Skye sighed in annoyance. I didn't wanna have to do this Skye thought and then used her secret weapon that not even Chase could resist.

The puppy eyes

"Okay Skye, not cool. Cut it out." Chase said, but Skye didn't respond, but still kept on her puppy eyed face. Chase was now getting nervous.

"I won't give in Skye, you might as well give up." Chase stated but Skye didn't listen. As her face got a little bit higher, Chase lightly blushed as she stared into her eyes one more time until he finally groaned.

"Ugh! Fine, If I play one round, will you leave me alone?" Chase asked and Skye cheered with a backflip.

"Sure." Skye agreed.

"Alright, but one round." Chase reminded her and both pups set up the pup-pup boogie game. And they turned it on and chose a game mode. And now, the music began playing and both pups began their dancing competition to their heart's content.
