If they were going to find me, they could have decided a better time than this!

You quickly reach out for the table light that was on and switch it off. Everyone went quiet. You hear the car doors shut. Then you hear footsteps. Getting closer and closer. You heart races.

"Everyone be quiet and stay calm." You murmur, getting down behind the couch, followed by the others.
You peak out from behind the couch.

They're headed for the door! What do I do? How do I explain this? How doomed am I right now?
Three more footsteps. Two more footsteps. One more footstep.

You close your eyes, because your head started spinning and breath quickening.

But nothing happens.

You open them again and see them walk past the entrance and along the path to the garden.

What?

"Uhm... they just walked past us." You say in a hoarse voice, because your throat had pulled itself together.
"What?" USA asks confused.
You get up to walk to the window that shows out to the garden.

They're crying. They're standing at my grave and crying.

You stare in shock.

They really do care about me, maybe a little bit.

You eyes get watery.
"Are you okay?" You hear USA behind you.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"I'm not too drunk to see that you're not okay." USA says, frowning. He looks out the window and seems to understand. You hear your friends following him. One by one.
"They really do love you." Norway murmurs leaning onto the wall.
"Yeah." You murmur. "I didn't think they'd bother." You sigh.

Then you just stand there, together with everyone.

I'm so glad that I have friends like them.

After a long while they leave. Your legs had fallen asleep and hurt now.
"Okay guys, I'm going to bed."
"Already?" Belarus mumbles.
"Yes and you guys should too. Drink some water or something. All of you are completely wasted." You sigh, the last sentence more to yourself.
"Can I come with you?" Russia slurs hopefully.
"Yeah you guys get a bedroom each."

"I don't want to have my own bedroom." She frowns.
"Then share one with your sister. Come on I'm tired I want to got to sleep." You sigh, too tired to continue any conversation going on at the moment.

You hear the car depart, while you help the Countries get up the stairs.

"I'm tired." Poland complains.

No wonder.

You assign the rooms as you go.
Finally you get to go to your room in peace. You lock the door. Like you always did. So your parents wouldn't walk in and start lecturing you about not running up the stairs or catch you sneaking out of the window to walk in the woods.
Now there didn't seem a point to lock it, but you still did. Just to have the feeling that not everything has changed. At least some things remain.

You change and then go to sleep.

Good night (Your Parents). Don't worry, I'm fine.

Please be happy without me. Us three, that has never worked. Move on. It's okay...

What time is it?

You open your eyes and stretch. It was light outside.

Finally I didn't get disturbed by nightmares or have terrible back pain because of  sleeping in car seat. But my side. Is it my rib?
