Time Flies

Vietnam sunk her head. I put my hand on her shoulder.

"What happened? Where's Thailand?" I ask her. She sniffled.

"She's gone. She didn't make it."

I bend down to her.

"I think we're close." She says.

"Close to him? How do you know?"

She shrugs, while the trees loom over us, completely still.

You look up, in front of you Edinburgh castle.

"Scotland?" Ireland looks up. "Why did you bring us here?"

"Scotland is part of the UK, if you haven't noticed." UK replied, coldly.

Ireland rolls his eyes. "Let's see how long that'll last." He whispers.

UK turns to him, her eyes sparked angrily.

"Let's not start that now." Norway says.

Putting his hand in UKs shoulder. She shakes it off.

And continues to glare back at Ireland. Ireland looks back at her, his glare faded into a tired and disappointed glance.

UKs glare also ebbed. They both looked away.

"We should get going, before we run out of time." Ireland murmured.

UK flinched and hesitantly nodded.

"Let me show you Edinburgh castle." She mumbled.

Finland reached out for my hand.

"India, we have to get out of here." He said.

I nodded. "I know, but what about the others?"

"I don't know, that's why we came here, to talk about our plan to escape this place.

"We need help from the others."

"The others?"

You looked at the statue of the dog called Bobby.

"So you built him this, because he waited for his owner until he died?" You ask.

UK nodded. She seemed to be lost in her thoughts after the weird fight with Ireland.

"He must have loved his owner a lot, if you would sacrifice so much time just to wait for someone who would never come back." USA says.

UKs gaze darkened.

Is something wrong?

"Are you okay?" You ask her.

She gives you a tired smile.

"Yes, I'm fine. Don't worry about me."

You sigh.

Obviously not. Why are these Countries so hellbent on not trusting me with their problems until they seem to mentally break?

How much mistrust and disappointed did each and every one of them have to go though, to be so miserable?

Is it betrayal? Is that what they're afraid of?
