31 || Don't fight

(Y/n)'s POV

"Mikey..."

"Hm? What's up, (Y/n)-chin?"

Takemichi and Hina went home already and it was just the two of us. We munched on our dorayaki.

"I-"

I decided to tell Mikey about Takemichi but stopped.

"Please keep this a secret, (Y/n)-san, don't tell anyone," 

I shook my head. "never mind, it's nothing,"

Mikey tilted his head a little. "Okay?"

"Oh yeah, (Y/n)-chin, let's go on a date tomorrow," Mikey suddenly said, smiling brightly.

"W-what? A date?"

"Yes. A date!!"

"Uh-" I didn't know what to say...we aren't even dating...

Someone cleared their throat and I shot my head towards the person.

"Chifuyu?"

"I believe (Y/n)-san can't go on a date tomorrow because she has something important to do." Chifuyu stated, his left eye glaring at Mikey.

I stared at him. Do I have something to do tomorrow? I'm fully open tomorrow, though...

Mikey puffed out his cheeks. "How do you know?"

Chifuyu grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him.

"We have to go, bye, Mikey-kun!"

"Huh?" I was super confused. I looked back at Mikey who was smiling and waving his hand a little.

Hehe, my plan worked!! Mikey thought.

"Uh, do I have plans tomorrow? If I do, I already forgot..." I said nervously as Chifuyu was still holding my wrist and marching towards who knows where.

Chifuyu suddenly stopped and turned around. 

"Sorry (Y/n)-san, my body moved on its own."

"No, it's fine, how's your bruises though?"

Chifuyu smiled. "Getting better,"

I smiled back. "Glad to hear,"

"How's the investigation going?" I asked, changing the topic.

Chifuyu told me about everything he and Takemichi investigated. 

"I see...but we need to save Kei from getting killed," I mumbled.

"Hm?" Chifuyu didn't hear what I said.

I covered my mouth and shook my head. "Sorry, it's nothing."

"The fight's tomorrow, right?" I asked.

Chifuyu scratched his head. "Yeah."

"We gotta act fast then," 

"I'm gonna go meet Baji-san with Takemitchy today though," Chifuyu said.

"Oh really?" Looks like they're trying to talk to Baji too.

"Well, good luck, cuz Kei won't talk to me either," I said as an irk mark formed on my forhead, remembering the time Baji ignored me.

A few minutes later, Chifuyu went to go meet Baji. It would be the last meeting with Baji before the fight. I didn't want to see Baji right now since I was pissed off so I decided to stay.

"THE PRE BATTLE MEETING FOR OUR FIGHT WITH VALHALLA WILL NOW BEGIN!!" Draken shouted.

All the Toman members gathered at the Musashi Shrine for our final meeting before the fight with Valhalla.

Mikey stood up and faced the crowd and looked around. "I'm glad to see you all here today!" He started.

"Tomorrow, we're going head-to-head with Valhalla. Also, Baji has sided with the enemy. We don't go easy on traitors! That's Toman's policy!!"

Then, Mikey's expression changed. "Can I just be a kid?"

"Huh?" Mumbles were heard throughout the crowd. What was our leader saying??

Mikey sat down and smiled sadly. "I don't wanna fight Baji..."

I smiled lightly. Mikey doesn't change, does he?

"SO HERE'S MY SOLUTION! TOMORROW, WE ARE GONNA CRUSH VALHALLA AND BRING BAJI BACK!!!"

"THAT'S HOW WE FIGHT OUR BATTLES!!" Mikey finished, and the crowd cheered.

"AND (Y/N)-CHIN!!" 

"Huh? Me?"

Everyone turned towards me.

"Don't join the fight tomorrow," Mikey said, looking straight at (Y/n).

"WAIT WHAT" Why so suddenly? I wanted to fight...

"Just watch the fight and when things go out of hand, come help, okay?"

"Fine," I pouted.
