Vegeta: Bardock... was the name of your father.
Goku: MY FATHER, REALLY?!
Everyone was silent for the moment
Vegeta: Explain, Y/N! How did you know about Bardock?!
Y/N: For a while, since the Universe 6 Tournament, I've been hearing this voice in my head. Somehow Bardock was able to talk to me in my mind. He told me that in his time, he tried to save Planet Vegeta from destruction. He ultimately failed, but when he was supposed to die, he said a tear in space appeared and he fell through it. He said a man with green skin and white hair tortured him and put him in that mask to do what he demanded
Trunks: Mind control masks?
Y/N: Seems that way. He told me we had to break the mask.
Beerus and Whis land down
Beerus: Did you say green skin and white hair?
Y/N: Y-yes, sir.
Beerus sighed
Beerus: Zamasu
Y/N: Who?
Beerus: The Tenth Universe's Supreme Kai in training. He was a spectator in the Tournament of Power. I suppose that would explain the Time Ring
Y/N: Time Ring?
Whis: A ring that allows Kais to travel through time. Though it would only be able to take the user to the future. They only move back when returning travelers to the time from which they came. It is normally impossible to travel any further back than your own relative past. Traveling to the past is forbidden, even for deities, due to the grievous complexities.
Y/N: Why would this Zamasu give Bardock a Time Ring if he isn't a Kai?
Beerus: Beats me.
Trunks: Could Bardock return here with the Time Ring?
Whis: Good question. If my theory is right, then no. His traveling here was a freak occurrence, not intentional.
Trunks looked over at his past mother, who was reading through the booklet.
Trunks: Do you think you can do it?
Bulma scratched her head
Bulma: This might be too much for current me!
Trunks: D-damn it!
Bulma: But.. it just so happens... Come with me.
Trunks followed Bulma to her lab, gasping when he saw what was inside
Bulma: Tada! Cell's Time Machine!
Trunks: Y-you still have that thing?!
Bulma: Indeed! A few weeks ago, Y/N asked me to refurbish this old thing! I can only assume it had something to do with Bardock. Give me time and I can fix this thing with the help of Future Me's booklet and we can travel to your future!
Trunks: T-thank you, Mom! You always deliver
Bulma: Well, I am an incredible scientist after all *laughs*
???: Boy!
Trunks turned to see Vegeta
Vegeta: Bulma still needs time to fix that old thing up! Come! We'll begin training now!
