Yoongi honestly felt like he was being a bad friend. He knew that going out and getting out the house for a day would do him good, but he didn't want to go out. Over the years he's had some pretty bad experiences with public spaces with people trying to have a go at him or harassing him.

His earlier years had been the worst, and even though he knows that times have changed, and that it won't be as bad as before. The thought that something could happen filled him with anxiety, even if there was no reason for him to feel that way.

Society as a whole has grown and become a lot more open-minded since he was younger, anyone could see that just by looking outside. It's been a long time since anyone has actually hurt or harassed him. The most he's gotten in a while are stares, and that usually happened when he was out with Jimin.

It always amazed him how people get so shocked when they see a human with a Hybrid walking around together and laughing as if it were a crime against humanity. But he supposed that to some people it was, especially because it was two guys.

He would even laugh at it if it weren't such a sad thing.

But either way, it was still a bit of a scare for him. He knew Byeong was right, he did need to get out more often, get more comfortable with being out in public spaces because it wasn't that he didn't like crowded places it was the people and their judging faces that got to him.

That's all he could think about the night before when he was going over options on what to do and where to go with Byeong. He even talked with Jimin about it to see what he had to say, and his thoughts were pretty much the same as Yoongi's in that the fear rooted from his past experiences was holding him back quite a bit.

Because while it was fine just going for a walk or to the store, there was something about being in a crowded shopping mall or a fancy restaurant that brought back certain feelings of a particular type of dread.

Then at the same time, he realized that what was the point of him embracing and stepping up for himself if he wasn't going to take action against all the things from his past that hurt him or made him feel small and unworthy. He'd leart to accept himself, but what did any of that mean if he wasn't willing to use the strength he'd found and show all the assholes out there that they couldn't hurt him any more.

So after a lot of contemplating and coffee, Yoongi decided on where Byeong and him would be going, and for old times sake he'd chosen that they go for a downtown trip over in the Yangcheon district, which was a little bit of a drive away. A place they wouldnt've been able to afford to go to back in the old days.

But times have changed and they're no longer the budgeted twenty year olds that they used to be, well, Byeong most certainly isn't. So he thought it only appropriate that they go some place that signified their growth over the past years.

So last night before heading off to work Yoongi messaged Byeong to tell him about it, and the Wolf agreed. They came up with a time and since it was the a weekday and Jimin would be using the car, Byeong would be coming around in his car after work and taking them down to the Yangcheon district at about one.

It was half past twelve already and Yoongi was in his room getting ready. It was one of those rare times when he decided to actually put some thought into what he was going to wear, he usually did, he just wanted to look really nice for today.

He stood in front of his body sized mirror looking himself over. He was wearing his third outfit choice and after giving it some thought he felt that he liked this one best, plus it went well with the weather today.

He wore a pinkish-beige loose-fitting button-up with a few buttons undone that was tucked into a fitting pair or black slacks along with a black belt. Over that he wore a white coat that came down to his thighs, and for shoes he'd chosen a black pair of Doc Martin's.
