Okay, I know I said that the prologue would be a while, but I decided to give it early as well, because I realized that an author's note and a bio weren't going to cut it in catching attention. Don't worry, I had plenty of time to think about it, and I'm not going to rush things in general. This is going to be the last fast forward update. Next one will not be until probably mid to late January, so as to allow myself time to think on how to procced and give you all some voting time from the poll on the bio. So without further ado, let's get this show on the road

I don't own Star Wars or RWBY. They belong to their respective companies.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Tragedy has struck the galaxy. The corrupt, decadent Galactic Republic has been replaced by a more corrupt, human-centrist, fascist government called the Galactic Empire. Built on the machinations of the Clone Wars by the newly anointed Emperor Shev Palpatine, secretly the Sith lord Darth Sidious, the galaxy has undergone one of the most traumatic changes in galactic history. Turning from a complacent government built on secret corporate corruption into a publicly corrupt, totalitarian, anti-alien regime that buts its own ambition over the well-being of its people, fear now grips the hearts and minds of every being in the universe. With its seemingly endless fleets of Star Destroyers and TIE fighters, powerful contingents of vehicular compliments of AT-STs and phase 1 AT-ATs, and limitless legions of imperial stormtroopers, all of which are led by none other than the ruthless Sith Lord, Darth Vader, very little hope remains. For the only that could've stopped the Empire is gone.
The Jedi Order, an order of peacekeepers that fought as generals in the Clone Wars against Separatists Alliance and its droid armies, has been destroyed. Half in part due to the schemes of the Sith, and half in part due to its own arrogance in believing that they could root out the new Sith in open warfare. Completely caught off guard by order 66, the Jedi learned that the Sith were now fighting a shadow war too late, and it cost them not only their lives, but the freedom of the galaxy. Only a handful of Jedi managed to survive the purge of their order, and even they have little hope left for the galaxy.
But some hope still remains. The Alliance to Restore the Republic, or the Rebel Alliance for short. A band of leaders and their followers joining together with pirates, mercenary groups, and even separatist holdouts from the Clone Wars have been fighting a valiant but uphill battle against the tyranny of the Galactic Empire. They are few in number in terms of people, bases, fleets, and other such things, but they make up for it in skill and spirit against the Empire's numbers reliance. One such Rebel squad takes this to a whole new degree: Revenant squad. The Alliance's unofficial best 'suicide squad'. Despite the Alliance leaderships attempts to cool down their reckless behavior and not turn them into martyrs, Revenant squad as made a great and infamous name for itself by being able to pull off impossible jobs with high chances of death and coming out on top with only a few scratches and burns. This has given them a reputation as being one of the number one terrorist groups to the Empire, and one of the number one calvary groups to the people of the Alliance. Whether it be holding the line against numerous stormtroopers of engaging in a risky dogfight against an imperial fleet, Revenant takes it in order to make a difference. The latter is the current situation we find our heroes in right now
Thus begins the story, of revenants meeting remnants...
~~~~~~~~~~~

"Again, how the hell did this group get ambushed so easily?!" shouted (Y/n) over his communicator of his X-wing starfighter while blasting away at imperial TIE fighters.

It was supposed to be another routine for his team: wake up on the ship, have a little bite to eat, go over their battle plans on what impossible mission to take next, hope they can beat the odds on their next suicide mission, celebrate after proving the Empire can be fought and hurt to shatter its invincible image, doing their own routines on their own time, got to sleep, and repeat the process again.
