August 10th, 1979 - The Burrow

It was the first Order meeting that the new recruits would be included in, a stressful experience for everyone involved. The Order worked at a certain pace, and everyone involved knew it, when new members were added however, it took some time for them to get used to the way things worked, sending everyone out of balance.

Adding onto the fact that those new members would soon learn that Nephera Winchester was, in fact, very much alive, it would be an eventful evening, to say the least, "Come on, mon coeur, we need to leave," called out Sirius

Nephera, who had just stepped out of the shower, wrapped a towel around herself and walked into the room, "The meeting's not for another hour," she pointed out

"I don't want to apparate, I want to take the bike, come on," he practically whined

There weren't many things Nephera didn't like about Sirius, that blasted flying motorcycle though was an exception. When the wheels were actually touching the ground, she loved being on it, when Sirius was flying it though was a whole other story. She hated it, with a passion, "Snuffles-" she started but stopped when he gave her his signature puppy-dog eyes

There were also not many things that could break Nephera's resolve, except those eyes that is, "Give me ten," she grunted, "I need to get ready,"

Sirius jumped up, kissing her on the cheek as a thank you, "Why do you even need to get so dressed up for the meeting?" he asked, "It's just business,"

"I'm not getting dressed up, I'm wearing shorts and I'm just doing my makeup,"

"Right," he said, drawing out the word and raising an eyebrow, "So it has nothing to do with Gids being there?"

The witch scoffed, taking extra care in her eyeliner, "If you're implying that I'm jealous, I'm not. What I am is scared that she'll jump me and I'll have to deal with another corpse,"

"Alright, ignoring the 'another' part of that sentence, you're not showing up there in those shorts," he retorted, eyeing her up and down

She smirked at him through the mirror while pulling on her shoes, "Who's jealous now,"

"I am, I thought that was obvious,"

"Come on, Snuffles,"

A half-hour flying bike ride later, and the couple was landing at the Burrow, Nephera wasting no time in getting off of the bike, swaying slightly on her feet, "I hate that thing," she cleared her throat

"Pads, Neph, get in here!" Remus yelled from the window, "Dumbledore's already here,"

And with that, all thoughts of nausea and motion sickness left her mind, and she rushed inside the house. She hadn't seen Dumbledore since the day Ailani died, and needless to say, the brunette was not about to let him think that he'd gotten the upper hand again.

See, after the young witch had announced that she wouldn't be correcting Voldemort, and would remain "dead", the old wizard thought he'd finally get rid of her. She couldn't go on missions, she wasn't an Auror any longer, she was practically useless.

He had been wrong, dead wrong.

No, the girl had somehow managed to increase her influence over the Order by essentially taking over planning for the missions, "Ms. Winchester, I was starting to believe that you wouldn't be joining us," he drawled

Nephera laughed, "You're not that lucky, Albus," she replied sharply, "Where are the new ones? I'd rather get the shock over and done for, there are missions to hand out,"
