November 30th, 1979 - Grimmauld Place

The reason why Sirius had moved into Grimmauld Place was because of its safety. He had to give express verbal permission for anyone to enter, which made it the best place to hold Order meetings. The downside? Sirius had to stand at the door and greet everyone with their full name, making him look like kind of an idiot, "Come in, Fabian Weasley," he greeted with a bored expression, "Godric bloody Gryffindor, this is driving me mad,"

Nephera laughed, wrapping her hands around him from behind and pressing a kiss to his shoulder, "Maybe, but you know what would be really funny?" she asked, smirking, "If you don't let Dumbledore in,"

The wizard barked out a laugh, "Oh you really are evil, aren't you?" he asked

"Depends on who you ask," she winked, moving into the kitchen

James, Lily, and Peter were already there, having flooed in since they had permission beforehand, "Did you see this?" asked the redhead, pushing the Prophet towards her, "I need to talk to Marls,"

The blonde witch had slowly but surely built up her section of the Daily Prophet, which was now the most-read in the entire newspaper, mostly because of how provocative the articles were. Indeed, this new one was entitled 'Lord Voldemort, why is  he hiding?' and proceeded to explain how the Dark Lord used Death Eaters for his business because he himself was, as Marlene had oh-so delicately put it, 'a useless fool with delusions of grandeur that could honestly be treated with a few daily potions, if his Lordyness would be willing to take them'.

Nephera snorted, "She's funny, I'll give her that," she replied, sitting down

"She'll get killed," came the voice of Dorcas, who had just entered with Marlene in tow

"No I won't," responded the blonde

"Oh well if you say so,"

Grimmauld Place was lively with chatter, over half the Order already there and more arriving every second. Indeed, it was the most life and noise the house had ever seen, and not even Kreacher's constant mumbling was enough to dull the atmosphere, "Honestly, killing her would make her a martyr. Give even more attention to her articles, I don't think he'll risk that," reasoned Nephera

"Thank you!"

"Alright, Winchester, not helping," grumbled Marlene's girlfriend, waving her wand and conjuring up a glass of water

James shook his head at the conversation, leaning back. It had been a while since they were all together, even Sirius's birthday earlier that month had been small. Their work, and the war, often got in the way of everything, and even though they were there to discuss more war during the meeting, for the moment, they were in their own bubble, "Dumbledore not here yet?" came Remus's voice, who had come in with Gideon

"My bet's on Sirius not even letting him enter," laughed Peter

"Merlin, that would be a dream," sighed the brunette

Remus laughed, sitting down next to her while Gideon went to find his brother, "He looks like an idiot out there, there's something strangely satsfying about it,"

"I can hear you!" yelled Sirius from the door, "And Nephera, you're notebooks here, you were looking for it earlier!"

The brunette's eyes widened, she snapped her fingers and the notebook appeared in front of her, "I'm writing down all my spells, the ones I created," she explained once she saw everyone's inquisitive glances, "And I also have far too much time in my hands, I need to come back from the dead,"
