Alright, listen. I know I said that my decision was set in stone. There would be no book 4. I was done with this series and would not touch it again.

Well, I lied.

I HAD A PRETTY DAMN GOOD IDEA OKAY

It was like I had some kind of epiphany. I was just laying in bed a couple of weeks ago, just thinking and I was like: "Damn. That's a pretty good idea."

AND NOW IT'S ROTTING MY BRAIN OUT.

Originally, I had planned to make a series of "What-ifs?" and I thought of a really good one and was like: "Hey, I can do something with this." And I'm going to.

GOD WHAT AM I DOING ANYMORE

Jesus Christ. Anyway...

Beginning 2022, expect the fourth book to this series.

Here's a few short excerpts from some of the drafts (these are all subject to change/ not be included)

...

"Dad, let me help you!"

She ran up beside the man, grabbing onto the sleeve of his jacket. She pulled on him hard enough to halt his hasty step, making him spin around to face her. She swallowed hard.

"I said: no. If I tell you again, so help me God, Sora. I will send you so far off and lock you away from this all. This is not your fight," He warned, his eyes blazing with anger and annoyance.

"Dad, please!" She begged. "I'm a sorceress! I can help! I want to save Mom!"

"Goddammit, Sora!" He yelled, ripping his arm away from her. "Don't you fucking get it?! I'm trying to save you from her!"

...

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" She shouted, grabbing the older woman by her shoulders. "Hey! Answer me!"

"Sora, stop!" Shota yelled, reaching to grab her, only to be stopped inches from touching her.

"Answer me, you bitch!" She screamed, shaking her mother. "How can you do this?! What about Kota? What about me?!"

"Sora, enough!" Itadori yelled, his deep voice beckoning in the room, causing her to briefly look over her shoulder before looking back at her mother with blazing eyes.

"How can you do this? You can't just shut down like that! You have to stop this! What about your kids?! You have a family, Mom! Open your damn eyes! We need you!" She said, tears brimming in the corners of her miscolored eyes. She placed her hands on her mother's frighteningly cold face.

"Mom, I need you..."

...

"What's going on?!" She shouted, grabbing onto her younger brother. The ground beneath them shook, making the girl whip her head to her father. "Dad?"

"Nee-san!" The boy cried, clinging to her leg. "I'm scared!"

She looked up with wide eyes, the black glasses slipping from the bridge of her nose. They fell to the ground, the lenses shattering upon striking the concrete sidewalk. She felt her breath hitch at the man in front of her. His e/c eyes stared back, half-lidded when he saw the two children.

"Dad!" Sora yelled though she felt her heart sink into her stomach. "D-Dad...?"

"I'm sorry," He whispered, closing his eyes. "Sora, take care of your brother."

"W-What?"

Her eyebrows pinched together. Suddenly, the ground under them began to crack open. Her brother screamed in fear as she gathered him in her arms hurriedly, taking a step back in shock. She gasped as the ground broke more, separating from under her feet. She looked back at her father, pure shock and fear.

"Dad...w-what are you doing..?"

His eyes darkened.

"What I have to."

Her stomach dropped, her heart leaping into her throat when she lost her footing, falling between the crack.

...

"I miss Mommy,"

She handed him a piece of candy. "I know. Don't worry, Kota," She said, watching the blue orb swirl at the tip of her finger disappear as she closed her hand.

"I'll get us back."
