Bound, their hands over my mouth.
I watched as you sank to the ground.
Gone, but still you're a part of me now.
I cried out but still your blood shone
And flowed.And now
In the bone crushing emptiness
The world ceases to turn and time
Stands watchful; walk among the shadows;
The demons,
The angels,
The fallen,
The hurt,
We almost had it.But now
I wrestle and fight to bear.
I must walk alone without you
Carry on without you
Learn to live, without you. After centuries of seconds,
Picked through the wreckage.
A fallen warrior, you lie
Blind to the pain that I show,
We almost had it but we lost.
We were so close, but your glow
Gone from this world, they took you
Cause I let you go.I let you go.
I should have stayed beside you,
I should have showed you I cared.
Not left you in the dark
With only the rain to pat
Your back.I should have been there.
And told you everything I knew.
Gone, but you're a part of me now.
I can't let myself leave you.
Even though I can't bring you back.
Forever I mourn you.And the steel blade glinting,
Such is regret after death.
