Dear best friend,
If this was the last day on earth,
I'd never forgive myself,
If I never told you,
How precious you are.
You may already know,
But I like to remind you,
This world would be grey,
But you bring it colour.
I've seen your smile,
I've heard your laugh,
I've seen you at peace,
And in a bit of a mess.
You make every day a joy,
You never cease to make me smile.
No matter if we have to endure,
Thunderstorms or tidal waves.
You always stick by my side,
And I'll always stick by yours.
You're loyal,
You're brave,
You're sweet with
Just the right amount of spice,
You're caring,
You're kind,
You make me feel safe.
So thank you for putting up with me,
Always being there for me.
For putting up with my bad jokes,
References, and my craziness.
Thank you for this friendship,
And always believing in me.
Thank you for your honesty and positivity.
Thank you for everything.
You're more than I could ever ask for,
I can't express it all,
But as you've told me:
At least I've tried.
And that is what I've done,
I've always tried to,
Be as good of a friend
As you are.
Dear best friend,
You're the best thing that ever happened,
And now I hope that you understand
How much you've impacted my life.
Without you I'd be at a loss.
Five minutes ago, I realized,
That if I didn't tell you all of this,
Then what would happen,
If this day is our last.
