A girl crying in the dark,
But none can see her,
She's lying there dying, wishing she
Would be found, have someone care,
But she knows,
No one is coming,
She is alone.A dog chained to a post,
Yowling, begging for some love,
People pass it with disgusted looks,
It gazes with mournful eyes,
But it knows,
No one cares,
It will die here.A little child wailing,
Starving on the streets,
They're pleading for some food, to survive,
But no one offers, they have their own families to feed,
It pleads with deep innocent eyes,
But it knows no one will help,
It will perish.A man shot to the ground,
Clinging to life by a thread,
He hears sirens blazing but know they won't be coming for him,
Thinking only of all he never did,
And how he never made his dreams come true,
He knows,
No one will help him,
And he won't survive. We are born, we live and as time races along,
The day will come when we sleep for good.
The light
Slowly fades.And all is gone.
