I'm running through the trees,
Racing through my memories,
They keep bringing me here, but this time
I'm not running from you, this time
I'm on the hunt,I can smell you on the wind,
Howling, a sounding battle cry
You better watch out because here I come,
We aren't playing hide and seek anymore,
You thought you could get away with it,I'm here to teach you a lesson,
I hoped it wouldn't come to this,
But I'm standing my ground, this time I
Won't back down,In the starry night,
You can run from me but
Our roles have swapped tonight,
I'm the old prey become predator,
I'm a wild animal and I'm coming for youNote: this poem is inspired by my awesome friend iceage18 's stories about wolves, you're an amazing writer and I hope to collaborate with you on a wolf story sometime.
