Vol 6. Let The Tutoring Begin. #9

Amy felt kinda sad for not having a longer session with Porlyusica today. She made another promise to get coffee with Levy after training but she isn't looking forward to it.
After arriving back home she made herself a meal and went up to her room so she could eat in peace.
It's only 12:15 and just as Amy took her first bite, someone's already knocking on her door.
Agitated she swallowed her food and yelled.
"Can you come back later? I am eating."
"Oh, shall I meet you at the guild then?"
Amy recognizes that voice and of course it's Levy.
"Yeah, I'll be there soon." Amy answers.
"OK, see you there!" Levy replied and she left.
Amy then stood up and looked out her window. Shortly after that she sees Levy and Juvia heading to the guild.
Amy sighs deeply and gets back to finish her meal.

Afraid to let those girls down she chances her clothes and ties up her hair to make it seem like she put some effort into it.
Amy then looks in the mirror as she puts her cloak on and takes a deep breath.
'I can do this..'

Half an hour later, after struggling with herself to just go and meet with the girls, she arrived at the guild.
"Amy!" Levy calls as she only had put her foot through the door. Of course Levy was waiting in front of the door.
"Hi Levy. Sorry it took a little longer, I am kinda bruised up.." Amy wasn't done explaining and realizes she had the perfect excuse to cancel..
'I hate my dump ass..'
"That's alright, are you very sore? We can reschedule if you want." Levy asks with a very sweet tone.
Surprised Amy looks down and nods. She is still getting used to all the compassion and empathy these people have.
"S-Sorry for c-canceling a-at.." Amy stutters but gets cut off by Levy.
"No, nothing to be sorry about! Sometimes this happens and if you're not comfortable, we reschedule." The tiny girl explains.
Amy swallows the lump in her throat and without further ado she agrees, then she gives Levy a quick hug and leaves the guild.

But she didn't head back to the dormitory, she went in to the forest to sit by the lake.
As she sat down, she immediately pulled the elastic tie out of her hair and put on her hood.
"Every one is so nice to me.. And I am still such a mess.."
Amy looks around for a moment, then she activates her moondust and leans back against the tree and closes her eyes.
"I am so tired.."

It began to rain and Amy was woken by the sound of the raindrops falling on the leaves above her. There is still a lot of daylight as well. Amy stands up from the ground, stretches her arms above her head and starts walking back to the dorm. 

Meanwhile downtown Gajeel and Lily are heading out on another easy job. As they walk down the main road they spot an acquaintance. Amy took a detour through town.
"Amy?" Gajeel speaks as they are about to literally walk into her.
Amy lifts her head, meets his eyes and comes to a stand still.
"Gajeel.."
"Are you okay? You look pale." Lily asks, genuinely worried.
Amy nods. "Yeah, just tired and a little bruised."
"Did someone beat you up?" Gajeel instantly asks.
"No, no, I had tutoring this morning and it was a little rough." Amy explained without giving many details.
Gajeel and Lily share a look and without much detail, Gajeel decided to take her to his place. Lily headed back to the guild to cancel the job.

Gajeel closes his front door behind him and directly walks into the kitchen to grab an ice pack for Amy's bruises.
"You don't have to do all of this, you know. I have an ice pack too." Amy says to him, meaning we'll, but he isn't responding to her comment.
"Where are you bruised the most?" He asks her while holding the ice pack. Amy points to her left upper leg and becomes extremely nervous as Gajeel follows by calmly moving her skirt up a little and carefully placing the ice pack on her leg, holding her leg on both in-and outside.
The silence speaks in such high volume, but Gajeel is only focused on taking care of Amy.
