Lightning illuminated the sky. Thunder boomed and rain pounded against the roof. The Samezuka swim team stood around the pool as they waited for the storm to stop.
The thunder boomed loudly and the lights shut off. A small squeal echoed through the room as Nitori wrapped his arms around (First name), the Samezuka manager and Rins cousin. "I'm sorry senpai!" He exclaimed.
(First name) giggled as she wrapped her arms around Nitori. "It's okay, Nitori-kun. Storms scare me too."
"R-really (First name)-senpai?"
"Really, Nitori-kun." The lightning flashed and was followed by a loud boom. Nitori jumped slighly and tightened his grip on (First name). She lightly kissed his cheek and began to stroke his hair. "It's okay, Nitori-kun. I'll protect you from their storm, okay?
"Okay. I'll protect you the best I can too, (First name)-senpai!" He placed his lips on her cheek as both their cheeks turned bright red. They spent the rest of the evening in each others arms, surrounded by their friends and teammates, trying to protect each other from the storm.
