Chapter-15

Ming's POV

"Mr. Daichapanya...?"

I turned and looked at the kid in front of me. I kneel to his height and asked.

"Yes, But why are you looking for me?"

"My mom told me that If I want to get help then I should come to you." He said nervously. The little boy is slim and not healthy enough for a kid around his age.

I ruffle his hair. He smiles and then his eyes turn sad.

"Could you please help us...?"

I nod my head. His eyes lit up and he holds my finger to take me somewhere. What's happening today? I was just going to enter the company when this kid stopped me.

"Where are we going?"

"My home..!"

"Do you know the address so we can go from my car?" I asked him. He stopped and thought for a second then told me.

"It's near XXX mall."

I nodded my head and opened my car door. I put the seat belt around the boy and went to the driver's seat.

That mall is not far from the company. I parked my car in the parking area and opened the door for the boy. He holds my hand and then leads the way.

We were walking in the alley. I never had come here before. I wonders how this boy's mom knew about me.

We were in front of the small three store building. Its condition is not good. He pulls me from his hand and we both enter the house.

I opened the door there was she laying on the bed. I walked to her. She seems familiar.

"Thanks for coming here, Mr. Daichapanya."

I took the chair and sat down beside her single bed. It's only one room.

"I am sorry for disturbing you're with such precious time but I need your help..."

"What kind of help you want from me, Miss.."

"Mrs. Rathrakiti."

"I adopted Jingyi from your orphanage four years ago. We have a stable life back then but my husband passed away two years ago. I married again to have a stable life with jingyi but....."

I don't remember much but I knew there was a kid of this name in our orphanage.

"Please take him back into the orphanage. I don't want his future to get destroyed with me."

"Does your husband.....?" She shook her head.

"He faced a big loss in his business. We can't take care of jingyi. My health is getting worse day by day."

"I could talk with the hospital and help you...."

"No, Mr. Daichapanya. I already lost hope. I just want a better future for him. Please help me."

She begs me. I turn to look at Jingyi who's staring at us from the corner.

"I'm ready to take Jingyi's responsibility."

I told her after thinking about the kid because I knew raising a kid is not an easy job in such conditions.

"Jingyi..."

She called him. He stood and walked to her. She caress his face and pecked on his head.

"You have to go with, P'Ming now. Okay, and mommy will soon come to meet you." She said.

I knew there's something she's hiding but I can't pinpoint what. Jingyi looked at me with his pearl-like eyes.

He nods his head and hugs his mom. Tears fall from her eyes.
