RAP EGO

I speak on the things that are left unsaid in order to start a conversation.

 To get people debating

But not without purpose.

If truth isn't spoken, then it isn't worth it.

I know that it takes time, so I'm patiently waiting.

In hopes that it's realized, that unity resides in the moments we relate to one another.

After all, we're all someones  sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, sisters, or bothers.

First it is the hate we must uncover.

Then with love we shall smother.

Watch the flames of hate flicker out.

Bring water to the conversation when you see its in drought.

Speak for the oppressed.

The unprotected -the neglected.

The disrespected.

Find the truth in the world.

Break it down and dissect it.

Shine a light on the ones who continue to be rejected.

I'm not full of myself I'm simply stating the facts.

I write with the same sincerity that was found in pac's raps.

I get my message across subtlety - I don't need to write in all caps.

If I did they would say that I'm shouting because I'm angry and black.

Yes I glorify rap.

It's a form of poetry that's frees me from all the things that hold me back.
