Birds of a certain breed may gravitate towards each other indeed.
Beware of the circle you keep and the energy they feed.
Birds of little substance that hide within the surface.
They paint a narrative to contort your perception of their true purpose.
Some are less cynical and more oblivious and self destructive, misleading you because they themselves are misguided.
Misery loves company as i'm sure we've all heard, or been taught. This bird is contempt with living in their misery and not seeking a way out, only to pull someone in .
More dangerous are those that see you as means to an end.
They love to pretend.
Keeping you in close proximity to gain your favor and trust. All the while progressing their own agenda.
Of course not all birds are ill intentioned.
Which is why I must mention.
The birds that blow wind beneath your wings so that you can soar.
That push you to strive for more.
Who remain in your flock no matter what you endure.
Who have no ulterior motives and only love you whole-heartedly for sure.
