Child Of The Night

I come alive in the night time.

As does my mind.

Thinking and spinning all of the time.

A feeling less than sublime.

I start thinking really deep

No inclination of sleep.

No counting of sheep.

Im counting world problems.

Trying to figure out how to solve them.

Thinking of my family and friends.

The next time ill get to see them again.

Hoping they're happy and healthy.

As well as the people of the universe.

I wish there was no longer struggle.

One day we'll all be more mindful and pay attention to things outside of our bubble.

Let's look outside of the glitz and glamour they so often try to distract us with.

That shouldn't be our propagative.

Im not trying to preach, not even teach.

Just my attempt of social outreach.
