It was almost 5 pm, I ran to the kitchen kissing my mom on the cheeks "hi mom." as I took out a bottle of wine, two wine glasses and grabbed plates of fruits, kissing my mom on the cheeks again as I jogged back to my room,
"bye mom!"
I heard her laugh and asked, "what's all the rush about, dawn?"
"nothing mom!"
I went back to my room and cleared out all of my stuff from the table near my window,

Setting the food, glasses and wine down, taking a few candles lighting them up, as I set down Y/n's picture.
"we couldn't do this because you left me early, but it's okay, I still love you." I talked to her,
I know I sound crazy, but who the fuck even cares anymore. I'll talk to her if I want to.
I'm cherishing her memory, she might be gone, but she's alive in my heart. Our memories is what keeps her alive in my mind.
"so, Y/n," I called her, pouring her a glass of wine as I smiled,
"would you like to eat dinner with me? For the first and last time before I-.... I let you be free?"
It feels weird, having to do this and saying she'll finally be free.
I don't know, but I just feel like she's still here. By my side, and I think she's still watching over me when she can just finally gets the peace she deserves after everything she's been through. But here she is,
The atmosphere suddenly became breezy, sending chills down my spine.
"you're here." I whispered,
I grabbed my chair and sat next to the window,
"you know, I really wanted to have a life with you." I do, I thought of us being together after the games.
