CHAPTER 41: Player 173, Kenji. The frenemy.

I suggest playing the song (to get in the moment, pls try it lolol) once you see: 🎶🎶🎶

Song: Mr. Loverman (Ricky Montgomery ft. Chloe Moriondo.)

Kenji's POV.

"the time for finding a partner is now over."

Clapping my hands together while Y/n took a deep breath,

"you guys, you're all making a big mistake! Do you really think you can win without me on your team? It's me, Han Mi-Nyeo!"

"poor thing, anyways let's go." I haven't forgotten about what she did to Y/n last time.

I am an asshole, I'm clearly aware of that and I know I make fun of Y/n all the time. But I know my limits and boundaries, and what that Mi-Nyeo said about her is just bullshit I don't tolerate.

"wait!" Y/n suddenly stopped me from dragging her,

Oh, it's 067 and Ji-Yeong.

I guess Y/n wanted to finally talk to her, but the girl just walked right pass her. Ji-Yeong only smiled sadly at her and gave her a little wave.

And I thought I was confusing.

I saw how Y/n looked down while biting her lip, probably stopping herself from crying again. "wow, god must hate me."

"let's go, Y/n."

"but what about her?" looks like no one wants to be partners with Mi-Nyeo, okay anyways-

"she'll be fine." what? That lady's capable of anything, I'm sure she'll figure out a way.

I dragged Y/n out of the room, making faces at her just because it's fun.

"I thought things this freaky were just myths, I guess I was mythaken."

She didn't looked amused, whoops

"dude fuck off!"

Our cat fight was suddenly stopped as a guard stood in front of us. For a second I thought we were getting killed for being loud, but nope they're just going to send us to our spot.

They suddenly handed me and Y/n pouches,

"Marbles? The fuck?"

"in this game, using your set of ten marbles, you will play the game of your choice with your partner."

OH FUCK.

"the player who manages to take all ten marbles from their partner, wins."

Y/n glared at me as I was smirking.

"you will have thirty minutes for this game, let the game begin."

"so, what game are we playing?" Facing her as I asked,

"heck I don't know! You're the one who dragged me out of the room!"

"come on," I pulled hee next to the fences, where I'll be sitting comfortably!

"let's just do the game in the last 10 minutes."
