A Bender In Neverland

As we arrived at the gate, we went inside and was greeted with a dimly lit tunnel. You can hear dripping from the pipes above the tunnel. A truck was seen to the right and a door to the left of the tunnel

"Conny?..." emma said while she looked around the foreign place aswell as norman and I

"Whoa... A real car..." emma thought aloud as she was inspecting it

"Nobody's inside the car." norman said after looking at the front seat of the truck

"Maybe conny will find it if I just put it at the back." emma said as she moved the sheet and suddenly dropped the toy and took a few steps back

As norman and I were busy observing the tunnel we heard a gasp

We turned to look at emma looking terrified/horrified and was stunned in fear

"H-harley? N-norman?" her voice cracking at every word

"Whats wrong emma?" I asked knowing full well she saw conny's dead body

Both of us went to where she was standing and I was right, she did saw conny's dead body and now all three of us saw it and were stunned by fear

Not gonna lie, I knew this was going to happen and was prepared for it but I was still scared. I aint ashame to admit that, I'm human I still got feelings and emotions

"Is someone there?" we heard coming from the door

I quickly get little bunny and went to hide with emma and norman under the truck

"Hey didnt you hear something just now?" someone asked

"You must be imagining things." another answered

"If it were a stray cat, we could've caught it to eat." the first one said sounding hungry

"Gah... Your telling me that you'd even eat cats?" the second one said sounding disgusted 

We saw their shadows and wanted to take a peak

Demons! I already knew that but still I covered my mouth just to be safe while norman scrunched up his nose and emma covering her mouth aswell trying not to scream bloody murder

"It looks tasty!" says the demon with long arms
"Fuck! Cant I eat even just the tip of her finger?" as he lifts up his mask showing his toothy smile and licking his lips, looking at conny's dead body in hunger

But was stopped by the demon with buff arms saying "You Idiot! That kid is valuable merchandise. Nothing the likes you and I should ever dare to eat. The human meat from this farm is all top-of-the-line stuff, meant only for the rich."

We then heard the door opened and saw another demon looking normal? The demon has no abnormalities except being tall so... his normal I guess?

"Another 6 year old... we've been harvesting 6 years old lately but it looks like we'll finally be able to harvest some high quality goods in the near future." the demon said while tapping his long finger on the board

"Yes... prepare the four with full scores for their imminent plucking isabella."

"Understood" mama said with a serios look on her face

I looked towards the duo and saw faces of those who were betrayed and shocked. I shaked emma's shoulder to snap her out of it and went to shake norman aswell after helping emma. Both of them looked at me

"Lets leave before they find us here." I said in a whisper

Both of them nod and got off on the other side of the truck

Norman gave emma a rock "Throw it as hard as you can at that pillar." he said as he whispered and pointed towards the pillar

Emma nodded and threw the rock at the wall creating a noise

"What was that?" one of them says

"You two! Go and find out what that was!" their boss shouted

We took the chance and bolted from the scene with not one of them knowing we were there because I had little bunny in-tow and they were distracted

We ran and ran until we were far away from the gate. All three of us stopped and took more than a moment to catch our breath. Emma on the ground, norman hands on his knees and me sitting down

"That wasnt conny right?... Conny is with her new family right?... That wasnt mama? The mama we know is kind and loves us right?" emma asked looking in denial, holding a bit of hope that this was just a nightmare

We both looked at her and norman said "Emma that was conny and mama..."

Tears was seen in emma's eyes waiting for the dam to break and the tears to come flooding down

I dropped the toy and went to her, holding her tight before she started to cry to give her comfort and a shoulder to cry on

Emma started to cry on my shoulder, agonizingly screaming at the sky as her tears fell down on her face not slowing down for a moment

I caressed her hair and wipped her tears trying to ease her pain

Over the years of knowing emma, she never gets sad or cry. Hearing and seeing her like this made me start crying

We went back to the house after we calmed ourselves down to some extent and before mama came back to the house and saw us outside crying

As we went inside there were no kids to be seen around, the lights were already off and only ray was there holding a lantern waiting for us to return

"Welcome back. How was it?" ray asked

"We didnt make it." norman said as he continued to walk with emma following behind him

I went to ray and handed him little bunny. He looked at me and I just flashed him a smile and went to catch up with emma and norman

We went into our shared room being quiet as can be so not to wake the other kids

Emma sits down on her bed with tears on her face and next to her, I was rubbing circles on her back trying my best to calm her down and norman standing infront of the both of us

"What are we gonna do?" emma asked, hiccuping on each sentence as she puts her head on my shoulder

"Were going to escape. Thats what were going to do. Y-" Norman said but was cut off by me

"Yeah! Were all going to escape this place together with everyone!" I said as I looked at norman and mouth mouth the words "Lets talk later when emmas asleep."

He gave me a nod, understanding what I said

I smiled then looked towards emma and whispered in her ear "How about I sing you a song to help you go to sleep?" she nodded her head

I smiled and started singing (Play the video if you want but I highly suggest you do)

As I finished singing, I noticed I sucessfully put emma to sleep

I lay her on her bed and made her cozy so she wont wake up anytime soon, wiped her tears then kissed her on her forehead then said goodnight

I then looked over at norman, his face accompanied with a sad look

I went to where he was and he started talking

"How are we going to escape with everybody?" he asked

"I dont know but in time will find an answer to that question?" I said

He giggled then nodded understandingly

I yawned "Its late, I better get back to my room aswell  Goodnight harley." norman said as he walked towards the door

"Goodnight to you too." I said tired from all that has happened and went to bed hoping that tommorow would be a not so stressful day
