Just A Family Moment

As mama introduced the newcomers to us, some of the kids were saying hello's and nice to meet you's, while the others were asking questions like whats your favorite color? and stuff...

I went up to mama making the trio look at me in worry and in anticipation

"Mama? Can I hold carole for a while? Please..." I said pulling out the puppy dog eyes

Mama looked at me and said "Sure. Here, gently now." as she gave me carole

As the baby lay craddled on my arms, I couldnt help but smile at how cute this kid is

As I was enchanted by carole's cuteness, I was knocked out of my stupor by the younger kids, shaking me to get my attention and saying "Let us see her as well." "Yeah! She's our sister too!"

"Oh! Sorry! Hehehe" I said with an embarrassed chuckle then showed them the newest addition to the family

"Wow she's so cute! Hi I'm chris" "Hi there carole! I'm jemima." "Aww look at her. I'm your big sister anna, carole its nice to meet you." "Hi I'm alicia, carole. You look so cute!"

As the rest of the kids were introducing themselves to carole. I took a glance at mama and saw a genuine smile on her face while sister krone was getting introduced with some of the other kids

I looked at mama again. Now having made eye contact, I couldnt help but show her a genuine smile at the memories we are making, even though she is our enemy, she will always be mama to me

As the kids were finished introducing themselves, I excused myself and went to where the trio were

"Hey guys! Come and meet our new sister!" I called them out from their train of thought making them look at the me and the baby in my hands

"Isnt she adorable!" I said

"Yeah, she is cute." norman said with a smile on his face

As norman said that I got an idea

"Here! You can hold her." I said with a smile

"What!" the trio and the rest of the kids exclaimed

"I mean its not that hard
You just have to hold her and not let her fall or are you to afraid to hold a baby?" I asked with a smug face

"I'm not afraid of holding a baby bu-" "Then here, hold her." I cut him off while rocking the baby

"But-" norman stalled

"Mama isnt going to be mad. Right, mama?" I said looking at her

"You can hold her norman, just be careful not to drop her." mama said with a smile

Me, emm, ray and the rest were looking at norman if he would do it or not

He hold out his arms and I gently gave him carole. As I handed him carole, he was carrying her in an awkward position

"Here you need to hold her like this..." I said while doing my best to help him carry her properly

"There... See not that har is it?" I said looking at norman holding our new baby sister

Emma has a smile on her face while ray was holding his gut and covering his mouth not to laugh out loud at norman's nervousness

I looked at emma and said "Go on emma, introduce yourself to carole!"

She nods her head and went to norman. She held out her finger to let carole hold it and said "Hi there carole, I'm emma one of your oldest sister... You really are cute huh?"

I called over ray and the kids to stay at my side leaving norman, emma and carole in their own world

I looked over at ray and grinned at him makimg him look confused until I pointed towards the nice family of three over there, he understood what I meant and gave me a grin and a nod

I started to talk aloud "Hey ray?" "Yeah?" "Do you think norman and emma are a couple?" "Why did you say that?" "Oh gee. I dont know maybe the fact that they have a baby? I mean look at them acting like a family over there. And look at carole doesnt she look like a child of emma and norman." "Yeah! Your right!"

The two in question looked at us in confusion until they understood what we were talking about, turning their faces into tomato red

"If you think about it... They kind of do look like a family." gilda said with a giggle

"Yeah your right!" don said starting to laugh

Some of the kids said "Yeah! Harley and ray are right" and started to laugh making a chain reaction of laughter

Ray and I high fived at the success of getting the two looking couple blush a mad blush and joined the rest for a good laugh

At sight of the adults, the kids and the baby in norman's arms laughing, they couldnt help but laugh as well

Making this moment one of the best memories in the house they experienced. No fake smiles or laugh. No just a family having a time of their lives
